Where you stumble, there lies your treasure


"Where you stumble, there lies your treasure" - Joseph Campbell

Campbell told a story about a poor farmer tilling his field, whose plough got stuck in a furrow. The farmer dug in the earth to discover the tip caught in an iron ring; digging farther the farmer found a large wooden door. The door was in entrance to a dark cave and when the farmer risked going into the dark, he found a vast buried treasure of gold and silver.

Go courageously into your shadow as you have no idea what marvelous treasures may be there
