Allow Love to Take Over Your Life!

When we fall in love with ourselves everything becomes beautiful and love takes over our life... Let's be love and live in love.. E/A ♥(Effie Aghili)

Karma/Grace

Some people are really good at fooling other people. Some people are really good at fooling themselves, too! But those people are foolish if they think they can fool karma. This is why it is so important to remember Wayne Dyer's words: How ...
people treat you is their karma; how you react is yours.

Sometimes you can tell if someone is not being upfront with you. But sometimes you can't. You just don't know. This is why it is a very bad idea to react to what you see/hear or what you think you see/hear from the other person. You could get it completely wrong, and make a real karmic mess, especially for yourself.

But if you don't react, because you understand that how you see things may not be the way it really is, and you understand that we all must take responsibility for ourselves, and you instead keep focused on your own karma/the karma that you are creating, then you are standing on firm ground. If the other person thinks they have 'fooled' you, and is not honest even with themself, then no matter how smug or clever they may feel, you can be sure that the karma being created here is not good.

When you think about it, that person needs our compassion, not our reaction. There's just no getting away from karma (at least from where most of us are at right now), and the more we try to convince oursleves that we are, the worse we are making it for ourselves. Better to face up, don't you think? -

"Grace" and "karma" are different paths to "salvation" to me. In Christianity, grace means that once one accepts Jesus Christ as their savior, then all sins are washed away, and salvation is instant. In Eastern Religions, karma is seen as cause and effect - negative thoughts and behavior lead to suffering and Buddha teaches that purifying thoughts leads to "end of suffering" - Bliss, Nirvana! I lean toward purification of thoughts since it is a tangible process, and is not confined to a "religioius belief" ie salvation.
I have also  heard "Grace" described as the activity of God within us. I like that, which to me means when we follow Spirit, there is nothing but good Karma! and there is no "sin" just merely mistakes which should produce no guilt.

Immense Love - Love in the Moment

We are the convergence of the whole universe. We all have a great need for immensity.
Pir Vilayat Inayat Khan(gratefulness.org)
Alchemical Wisdom

How does one attain this Immense Love?  We already have it. Love is the Essence of our Being. However, to realize it now, we must be mindful of it now in this moment. The same thing for Peace. We have to be mindful of Peace every moment. And the same for Joy, we need to be aware of Joy in the moment - mindful of Joy every moment. Love, Peace and Joy awareness by mindfulness in every moment.

It is good to remember to show your love to the ones who love you daily. Those who love you in all the normal boring day to day chores. Those who see the good side and the dark side as the hours pass. The crowd loves us as we are passing by. The crowd does not come to aide. Nothing is stable in the crowd.

I am pretty sure I know who you are, and to love another, one needs to trust this person. Respect has to be garnered by being integral, and not using the other person to get your needs met.
Relationships to be whole takes two whole people - not one who takes, takes and does not give to the relationship - the difference between a careTAKER & a careGIVER.

We have not met, Ron. Your postings have showed a gentle side and I appreciate them. If one speaks so highly of love for all, how can one claim it is only for "whole people"? Do you not believe love heals all and maks us "whole" when we parter with another? This give and take, respect and trust are all mental attachments to the pure love element.

Good feedback Anonymous - I certainly take the unconditional out of love when I stated that, I found out you were not the person I thought you were, and I am very grateful of this dialogue - very helpful in my relationship! Please keep responding...

Well, it looks like "Anonymous" is not the person I thought she(he) was - however grateful for startup of dialogue!

No interest in being a relationship doctor from me. I am perfect flawed human in forgiving coupling with my human Beloved. Not whole, yet, not looking to separate from the high and low that gives divine balance and all meaning to life. Can you see the balance of high and low equates give and take and equates respect given and received! Your relationship longer than 12 months? It is a success! for the path has not been perfect, correct? You two have seen high and low, correct? You love beyond words of love, correct? What are you worried about, then? Allow for mind to rest and accept that someone cares that much for/about you in this big planet
Really appreciate this feedback Anonymous (oh, "caregiver" & "caretaker" are used interchangably over hear - for nursing - I really see a big difference between "giving care" and "taking care" though.
really like - You two have seen high and low, correct? You love beyond words of love, correct? What are you worried about, then? Allow for mind to rest and accept that someone cares that much for/about you in this big planet   Thank you Anonymous!

    Experience Peace, Teach Peace

Place our children in the middle of a circle for peace. Teach our children peace and they can help create a World of Peace.

As a youth, I did not want peace, as I thought it would be boring, however, as an elder, I realize that Peace, Joy and Love are all interconnected - not One without the Other!

Celebrate the Small Steps to Peace Made Daily

    Peace of Mind-fulness
We must not, in trying to think about how we can make a big difference, ignore the small daily difference we can make which, over time, add up to big differences that we often cannot foresee.
    Marion Wright Edelman(gratefulness.org)
    Peace of Mind - fulness
Many times, after I sit in meditation, for a while I feel this blissful peace of  mindfulness, where I am completely in the moment.  Everything I do I do is in the moment, and I experience the peace I want in my life. So more sitting, more mindfulness, more Peace. I am very grateful!

    Let Go of Old Nonsense

Finish each day and be done with it. You have done what you could. Some blunders and absurdities have crept in; forget them as soon as you can. Tomorrow is a new day. You shall begin it serenely and with too high a spirit to be encumbered with your old nonsense.

    PEACE - anywhere anytime

    Collages from PeacePole Planting Ceremony

Charleston Unity Church Sunday after noon, I observed an inspirational Peace Pole erected in an awesome Ceremony led by Rev. Ed Kosac including several Leaders of other faiths and featuring
children including the minister's and an Imam's sons. The children delighted putting their handprints
in the fresh concrete around the pole. We finished with a large diverse circle around the pole and children singing the wonderful Unity Peace Song. Dr. Reba Parker and some of her students from the College of Charleston graciously obtained the Peace Pole for the Church. and were there to be part of the ceremony.

Let there be peace on Earth, and let it begin with me
Let there be peace on Earth, the peace that was meant to be

Let us walk with each other in perfect harmony

Let peace begin with me -- let this be the moment now
With every breath I take, let this be my joyous vow:
To take each moment and live each moment in peace eternally
Let there be peace on Earth and let it begin with me.

It started in Japan in 1955 by Masahisa Goi, who decided to dedicate his life to spreading the message, "May Peace Prevail on Earth" in response to the bombings on Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Source will always send you exactly the right people, places, and circumstances to bring you there.

    Twelve Insight Journal

    Dear Twelve,
Something recently happened at my job that necessitated me leaving there immediately. A person that I have to work with is unbalanced and out to ruin my reputation and certainly my happiness. I cannot work there any longer.
I have been more connected to the God Source without her in my energy. But I have been off of work for a week and am having waves of fear about "what is going to happen to me?" Can you speak a little about fear for one's self when one is alone, discouraged, with virtually no family?

If you are feeling more connected to Source, then this is exactly where you should be. And part of the reason you are feeling fearful and disconnected is the manner in which it happened. So we would invite you to reconsider the idea that that person was out to get you, and consider that the Universe sent them to get you out of a good place and into a better one. In other words they are your friend even though they are unpleasantly disguised.

When you choose to live your life in alignment with Source, and have conscious intention for the kind of life you are wanting to live, the Source will always send you exactly the right people, places, and circumstances to bring you there. Sometimes we just have to blast you out of a comfortable position to get you to move on. In fact, you should get used to it, because the more magnificent your life becomes, the more often you will find yourself leaving a place that is better than it's ever been before, to go on to your next adventure, that will be even better than ever. Better, better, and better. That's the way it becomes.

You cannot intend for even better, and stand still.

We invite you to get used to the idea that you will always be letting go of what-is and releasing it every day. It is your attachment to these things that causes it to be painful, not the fact that you are moving onward with your life. It's that death grip that most of you get on your familiar surroundings. There was that movie about the man whose airplane wrecked and left him on a deserted island for years. That was all about letting go. In the end he even had to let go of his familiar island, which he had learned to appreciate when it had saved him, in order to move forward with his life.

Appreciate, and let go. Appreciate, and let go. That is the way to always have that which is new and vital flowing into your life. Then you are always in the position, no matter how good it has become, to discover what can be even better than this.

Your journey is blessed. We see it. All is well. It really is.

    Namaste,
    Twelve

Humility Helps - You Know Who You Are....

Consciousness of spirit becomes greater to the degree a person willingly takes the lower seat. Spirit is most connected to the lowest of low. But those who are filled with desire and ambition rarely look down.

If they call you a saint you will not put yourself on a pedestal." ~ Mother Teresa

    BREATHING GRATITUDE

I breathe into a state of all-encompassing gratitude.

(Last year, I woke several times panicing because my breath had completely stopped. I thought I was dying! Thank God, I remembered my Yogic training in breathing - pranayama so I went deep to my diaphragm to force out the air, and I had to consciously keep it up, however the situation got worse, so I took an overnight sleep lab test at the VA hospital (Thank God for them too!). I was stopping my breathing 72 times in a 2 hour period, which was called "ultra severe sleep apnea". I was given a C-PAC breathing machine which forces air into lungs using a mask. Sometimes this is from heart problems, but I am thankful that it was damaged lungs instead. The gift is that I have to consciously pay more attention to my breath, and that I have to live mindfully. Now to add gratefulness to that gift.)

As long as I have breath, I have life. As long as I have life, I am grateful.
I draw in deep, calming breaths that spread through my body, enlivening my
senses. I breathe in gratitude for all I see, hear, taste, smell and touch. I am
grateful for my loved ones, my home, and for the myriad blessings in my life.

With my next breath, I dive deeper into gratefulness, breathing in gratitude for
my oneness with God. I am grateful for who I am in God--whole, beautiful and
irrepressible. With an energizing amplifying breath, I breathe out any disquiet in
    my soul.

Poised and in an elevated awareness of gratitude, I give thanks for ALL experiences:
    the physical and the mystical.

(from Unity Daily Word Nov. 22, 2012)

I give thanks to you, O Lord my God, with my whole heart. - Psalm 86:12

Peace of Mind leads To Love

I know that peace begins with my own thoughts. As I continue to have peaceful thoughts, I am connected with like-minded peaceful-thinking people. Together we will help bring peace and plenty to our world.

sharing Peace of Mind thanks Unconditional Love

Only when a person has peace of mind can he really feel love for humanity. Lack of peace of mind leads to animosity towards others. Peace of mind leads to love.

Only if a person has peace of mind will he be able to pass the test of dealing...
properly with other people. He will be able to kindhearted to everyone. His peace of mind will enable him to tolerate others and be patient with them.
