Relax and Enjoy Each Moment as a Miracle

To me every hour of the light and dark is a miracle. Every cubic inch of space is a miracle.

Anatoly Petrenko Every moment is a state of probability, choice is an act of wisdom. Wishing for more calm clarity to discern each moment!

Ron Alexander Ho! I really respect your profound replies Anatoly - I am sharing it on original post on my wall. thanks, ron!

  • Anatoly Petrenko I'm glad and grateful Ron for your great quality of ignition.
Celebrate, share and inspire others to turn their thinking away from addiction to suffering.

  • Ron Alexander hmm?? "...to suffering"? I guess you mean *&" instead of "to"?

  • Anatoly Petrenko No Ron, there's a deeper arrow here pointing to the circular nature of suffering — addiction to doing the same and expecting different results. Seeking for cause of happiness in external objects instead of changing one's thinking is an addiction.

Ron Alexander Hmm, respectfully, my purpose is just the opposite - to help "changing one's thinking" starting with my own - every moment - Deep Awareness is the realization of all the input coming in with memories, judgement, criticism, ... and using Prayer without Ceasing or Meditation Moment to Moment, Mindfulness to move to emptiness, nothingness which is Pure Timeless Bliss called Nirvana or experiencing Heaven On Earth! I am grateful Anatoly for your "igniting" what Reality and Self is to me. Possibly, you have misread my posts or I have misread your comment?

Anatoly: I see no opposition, you just moved into explaining the stage of the path.
We obviously not reading something as it intended....lol
I intended to highlight that suffering is perpetuated through addiction to ignorance of seeing happiness as external factor.
And you explained above exactly the path you're using to generate causes of happiness, which are our very thinking — internal
Not opposite even a degree. Lol

Ron: Yea, I really appreciate our dialogue (vs. discussion) to help clarify my evolving purpose!

  • Anatoly Petrenko Rich and beautiful is the energy of wisdom, your igniting skills are a boon!
  •
  • Friend: ...Struggling with some negative thoughts and feelings. Hope to go to ... Namaste,

  •
    Ron Alexander

Just knowing your thoughts of "suffering" is big step - try praying without ceasing or meditating moment by moment the forgiveness prayer for your self! Happy New Year! metta my friend!, ron

Cherishing Others More than Oneself , Dalai Lama

The precious awakening mind of bodhicitta, which cherishes other sentient beings more than oneself, is the pillar of the bodhisattva’s practice – the path of the great vehicle.
To cultivate this great compassion within ourselves, first of all we need to develop what is called loving-kindness, a feeling of connectedness or closeness with all living creatures. This closeness and intimacy should not be confused with the kind of feeling we normally have toward our loved ones, which is tainted by attachment…ego and selfishness. On the contrary, we are seeking to develop a feeling of closeness towards other sentient beings, and affection for them, by reflecting on the fact that suffering is inherent in their very nature, on the helplessness of their situation, and on the instinctive desire they all have to overcome suffering.

Take Over CAPTAIN - MASTER YOUR SOUL

I am the captain of my fate: The master of my soul. William Ernest Henley 1849–1903

      Invictus
OUT of the night that covers me,
Black as the Pit from pole to pole,
I thank whatever gods may be
      For my unconquerable soul.
In the fell clutch of circumstance 5
I have not winced nor cried aloud.
      Under the bludgeonings of chance
My head is bloody, but unbowed.
Beyond this place of wrath and tears
Looms but the Horror of the shade, 10
And yet the menace of the years
Finds, and shall find, me unafraid.
It matters not how strait the gate,
How charged with punishments the scroll,
I am the master of my fate: 15
I am the captain of my soul.

Suzanne Cerny I agree with this statement: Master Your Soul. From the heart we can make decisions. I participated in Heart Math at Unity Center, Walnut Creek. www.UnityCenter.net/ Self empowerment, manifesting your needs and desires, there are many ways to approach your own reality. I need more training though. I find that I am still on edge, and need to respect others more, when they tell me something about themselves.

You are here for something important and the Universe is ready
to give you all the resources you need to fullfill your purpose.
So release, let go, surrender and
Follow the Inner Divine, I AM! That is the truth of my being. I AM the  Light of God. I am the master, here to do the work of God. It is not me doing the work. it is The Presence doing the work.  I take 100% Responsibility for myself.

Being a captain/master means letting go and allowing SOURCE to move me perfectly! (So are You the Light of the World, and we are all One in Spirit.)

And no one can steal away my joy
and I can't take away yours!
Please take responsibility for your own fate and Soul, and I will take 100% responsibility for mine!
Joseph Campbell said "We must be willing to let go of the life we have planned,
so as to accept the life that is waiting for us".

Begin the new year willing to just be, after all, we are "human beings", a cup
of tea, a sunrise, the smell of fresh air or a good book are all ways of
celebrating the joy of being. While we are being, our life becomes.

To each of you who are so special.

You can be self righteously angry about whatever you want, but if you were aware what your are creating with that anger, you might change your mind.

      Self-trust

Ron Alexander: ambivalent about this post Tracey, but welcome to it of course, ron'
Tracey Vilain: thanks.".. i don't believe that detective work belongs in a relationship... but ultimately might come down to one's own level of self trust..."
Ron Alexander: "self-trust" or better "Self-trust" - upon reflection, Tracey Vilain, that is all the trust we really need no matter the actions ot the other

Above revelation is big one for me - "Self - trust" that is a big one for me - trusting MYSELF or Divine within me leaves me with no reason to distrust any one! I am so grateful for this Self revelation!

When having problems in a relationship, trust and say silently or if appropriate out loud to partner:
I'm sorry, please forgive me for whatever is going on in me that has created this. (Ho'Oponopono Prayer). No blame process, this makes relationships alot easier. It does not mean one does not stand up for oneself, it means one does it calmly, thoughtfully and non-defensively. It is a very effectiv
way to live life more peacefully with more integrity. And because are brains are so busy - so many thoughts, memories per moment, that we need to keep this forgiveness prayer in our mind moment by moment! I call it Pray without Ceasing or Meditating Moment by Moment - actually it is a combo - Prayer/Meditation Without Ceasing.

Let the Universe Breath Through You. What is meditation? When you empty yourself and let the universe come in you. -Author unknown ...
Friend: I'm jealous that you've been having some good solo meditation. I've slacked off while I've been away from home.
Hi dear Friend, My breathing "problem" is a gift that keeps on giving, and the SunLight is so important, so I have been meditating alot outdoors in backyard or even more at the nearbye beach, with the nice ocean breeze enhancing my deep breathing. Counting down my deep breaths (More Pranayama than Vipassana), really gets my energy going and then I AM BACK TO WALKING adding a block or two each time. And my relationship has gotten much better thanks to I am sorry, please forgive me, thank you, I love you - perfect for Christmas AM, as I was in a bad mood when she came upstairs, and said something that upset her, so since I know now, that it was a problem I created, I swallowed my pride, and she gratefully "forgave me"! Yeah, it works!  I really appreciate our dialogue, Friend and I do use parts of the Ho'Oponopono Prayer for a mantra along with counting down the breathe usually "thank you" however from the mantra part reminds me of whole prayer! I am so grateful to you  and our Friendship, May all beings be happy.  Metta, Peace, ron

What is "deep awareness". It is in knowing that we have all these negative judgemental critical thoughts all the time, so cleansing, purifying is needed moment by moment. Praying without ceasing is so important to "renewing our mind" as Jesus says or meditating or mindfulness moment to moment as Buddha would put it is so vital to living a Spiritual life approaching the Kingdom of Heaven on Earth or the Bliss of Nirvana. "Christmas is the festival of peace. Every year it comes in its own good time. But peace inside and among us can come only through persistent effort. This holiday reminds us that all people yearn for peace. Every year it admonishes us to be vigilant against the enemies of peace that lurk inside all of us, lest they cause harm not only at Christmas time but throughout the year."

Thanks so to Jeanne Porter Ashley!  Great reminder to be vigilant for peace every day, every moment! I apologize, please forgive me, thank you(for I know you do), I love you!

My Favorite Christmases (on a deserted island)

      My Favorite Christmases

Three Straight Christmases on a Deserted Island

                                                                                                      Ron Alexander

With about 20 students on board for our Marine Science under Sail, we celebrated our third straight on a beautiful deserted Cay called Little San Salvador.  It lies only about 25 miles South of  Eleuthera in the Bahamas.

Little San Salvador has a large anchorage with turquoise clear water and a large pink sandy beach. At the Southern tip is a orange, green, red, blue coral reef loaded with a sparkling rainbow-colored marine life plus edible fish & lots of  lobster and conch.

I enjoyed being away from stores and the heightened commercialization of the holiday. Our celebration was simple. The nearby reef was an abundant hunting ground, and we captains and crew caught and cooked a sumptuous feast – lobster, grouper, and the versatile conch – conch salad, conch fritters, & fried conch for the Christmas Day Dinner.

Early on Christmas day we drew names for gifts. Only one gift per person, and with nowhere to make a purchase, it would require some ingenuity and creativity. I will never forget the sweetness and humor provided by these simple gifts handed out after dinner on Christmas day. A nice little manger scene crafted from pieces of coral found on beach was my favorite gift. A funny little poem composed especially for the recipient was a welcomed frequent read during the after dinner exchange.  I usually gave a nice shell I found while hunting underwater or sometimes a specially prepared (sautéed with ginger sauce) lobster tail for an addition to the meal. Singing Carols after dinner, what could be better?

The Most Beautiful Gift - Merry Christmas

Photo: Please share....and help plant more seeds.

“The most beautiful gift that you can ever give to life is your heart; your heart is your truth, your strength and your love.

There is only one you and you must make the very best out of life for yourself always. You are strong never weak, you do not need crutches to help you walk the paths of life,

you have your own two feet and you can stand tall and proud and walk on them moving forward in life. There is no such action as failure; it is nonsense to think negative and do not ever feel sorry for you.

You have many gifts to give to life and you can find your gifts when you open up your eyes and see the beauty of life with your heart.” ~♥~ Lee Held (kudos to Jeanne)

      Christmas Reminder

      You Have Eternal Life

Yoga of Positive Thought in Practice

I thought a nice Christmasy kind of message from the Twelve would be good this week, and then I remembered, this was Yeshua's message to us - that you have eternal life. In those days long before newspapers or internet, a man and his word were considered to be one and the same. News traveled neighbor by neighbor, house to house. If you allowed a man into your house you were accepting his word, and if you didn't want what he had to offer you sent him away. That is why Yeshua said "those who accept me will have eternal life"... if you let him in you believed his message -- if you turned him away you turned his message away. Even now, if you don't believe you have eternal, nonphysical life, you will act accordingly and never realize you have it. That's like inheriting a million dollars, but never opening the letter that tells you about it.

Nowadays we have learned to separate the message from the messenger to a great degree, but if you get the message, why would you want to? It has been so totally cool to discover that Yeshua was one of the very first teachers of conscious creating. H
      appy Birthday, Yeshua ben Joseph!

Tell us about karma in relation to what we have created in this life and previous lives.

In order to understand that which you call karma you must first understand that on a vibrational level all of it exists now; past, present, and future. From your nonphysical perspective there is no place or time you have not been. You have chosen the vibrational essence of your life experiences from a great pool of vibrational possibility, that you all have complete access to, before you enter into your physical life “contract” with the Universe.

When you cease to be this physical form that you are now, you leave in your wake a lot of experiences, events…creations…yet to be realized in physical form, though they are vibrationally complete from the get-go. And when you return to your Essential Self—the vibrational, nonphysical you, that both precedes and accompanies you though physical life—you deposit all of the accumulated potential experiences back into a sort of vault, a pool of shared essences awaiting to be rediscovered by you, or by one of your fellows, in some future life experience.

So here you are now in your nonphysical Form, your Greater Self. And you have this great pool of life experiences to look at, both your own and those of your spiritual companions. You see, you don’t do this alone: You never have. When you select your “next” life experience you may choose to take back some of your own, or you may choose to take back someone else’s, as your launching pad for your new creations.

But all they are is a launching pad, a starting place. And it’s not necessarily “your” karma. On a vibrational level—and that is the level at which you choose your life beginnings—there are no “others”; certainly not as you conceive of “others” in physical terms. You have access to all of it, the good, the bad, the beautiful, the ugly, the indifferent, the exciting, all of it to choose from.

The beauty of this is that the vibrational essences you carry forward into your next physical life form are just there as support material, groundwork, for what you will create next. You are not bound by it. You can de-energize it at any time by moving your full attention elsewhere—and you do. Or you can choose to live some of it out by keeping your attention upon it. You can call forth the vibrational essence of any “past” life into any of your present life experiences by invoking it: place your attention upon it and Source will become a vibrational match.

There are no challenges you “must” pass in this life; You are already Perfect. All the challenges before you, you have chosen through your attention at one time or another to include in your experience. Some deliberately…some by default. If there is some test you feel you must pass, you will get another crack at it as many lifetimes as you wish to engage that challenge. If your best buddy in the nonphysical hits or misses his, you may choose to do that next instead. There are no limits. There are no boundaries. You are infinite beings with unlimited lifetimes to live… ha, ha, ha!… or what part of eternal, infinite life don’t you understand? As a physical being you just live it one slice at a time. All is well.

      Namaste,
      Twelve

      Beyond Concepts

For much of last year, I meditated with a group of Unity people most Sats. and Suns. at 7:30 am to 8:30.  At the end of the meditation, we repeated together "may all beings be happy" three times then bowing to each other "Sahud, Sahud, Sahud" (bowing to the Divine Teacher in all of us). Opening my eyes, I felt the bliss of Oneness with my fellow meditators in silence.
Outside of the meditation, some of us had completely different concepts of spirituality and meditation even, however in that Silence, we became beyond Concepts. A Blissful Place to Be!  I am so grateful for my fellow meditators!       Peace, Ron Alexander

this is not our meditation group however it is one with chairs, and at my age, with crickety bones, I am the only one to sit on a chair. I prefer a straight back wooden chair and use cushions also.

Defenselessness - Where My Safety Lies

I watched parts of the last 3 episodes of the Survivor. I was surprised when the tiny middle-aged woman won. She looked almost emaciated, however she was in good shape, so I figure she must have been a runner.  Some of her fellow colleagues, who were voted out, appeared to hate her. One called her an "appeasing bitch" - "you are always agreeing, appeasing, not judging, but you must be doing something behind our back to survive!"  She did not even get defensive when that was thrown at her. And that is why I think she won -  "In my defenselessness, my safety lies." ACIM  Peace, Ron Alexander

(There is no problem. Good and bad are parameters we create in our own mind. As long as we love and take care of ourselves, we will love and take care of others as well.)

Now how does one become non-defensive?  Instead of reacting, we let go and trust God (Love or Source) to respond. Take 100% responsibility.  Repeat the Ho'Oponopono prayer - I am sorry, please forgive me for whatever is going on in me that is creating this. Thank you, I love you." Or at least part of it like "thank you (for helping me practice being defenseless), and keep repeating thank you, thank you or "love you" silently over and over.

Remind yourself "I am creating this, they are my thoughts of the other person. It is a product of my own programming, my recording, my perception, I can erase this." Simple process gives me peace beyond words. Why? Because I don't stay trapped in thoughts like 'how could they say that to me or why did they talk to me like that?'  I don't expect the other person to change or to react in a certain way. I don't depend on anyone or anything outside myself. WHAT A RELIEF.  I learn to understand and respect that we all have a free will and not all of us choose the same things. There is no problem. Good and bad are parameters we create in our own mind. As long as we love and take care of ourselves, we will love and take care of others as well. (Paraphrased from Mabel Katz's THE EASIEST WAY  with gratitude).
Ron Alexander Thanks for sharing this Jaci - it may have been my best post about relationships? " Happy Holy Days! ron

    • Jaci Dunsford Thank you Ron. To give and to receive are one in truth.... and so likewise.
    • 100% Responsibility (Praying without Ceasing)

I'm sorry, please forgive me for whatever is going on in me that has created this.

No blame process, this makes relationships alot easier. It does not mean one does not stand up for oneself, it means one does it calmly, thoughtfully and non-defensively. It is a very effective way to live life more peacefully with more integrity. Peace, Ron Alexander
And because are brains are so busy - so many thoughts, memories per moment, that we need to keep this forgiveness prayer in our mind moment by moment!

I actually have a CD of this with rain, thunder and the Ho"Oponono prayer as a subliminal message. I use to when I'm going to sleep. Penny Masland Smith

Ron Alexander Well Penny Masland Smith, that is a wise move, I bet it has been helpful. I also use it or more like part of prayer as a mantra in meditation - like thank you, thank you, over and over or sometimes "I love you" , I love you over and over, or forgiving love, over and over - very effective!

The Past Has No Power over the Present

The best way I have found to heal the past is the Ho'Oponopono Prayer.  "I am sorry, please forgive me, thank you. I love you." I am reading Mabel Katz's new book THE EASIEST WAY! She is now most respected Ho'Oponopono teacher studying with Dr. Hew Lin for 11 years and she is also recommended by well known workshop leader Joe Vitale.
Mabel teaches that you are responsible for your own healing you are really forgiving yourself.

(Since we are all One In Reality, when we forgive ourself, we forgive All of Us. Ron Alexanders' words)

I'm sorry, please forgive me for whatever is going on in me that has created this.

And this is like Praying without Ceasing, as it has to be used moment by moment for the clearing, purifying that needs to take place.

Mabel calls the self-forgiveness process "erasing (memories) or cleaning."Jesus said we need to "renew the mind to live in the Kingdom on Earth."
Buddha said we need to "purify the mind to end suffering."

~ As more goodness and Love there is in our hearts, so less things we'll have to forgive, my friend. The treasure is within the heart! ...and the Light!!! Rodolfos Eleftheriadis

In Reality, you are right Rodolfos, however in this reality here on earth, there are so many thoughts and memories per minute, that forgiving in moment by moment mindfulness is very healing, purifying, cleaning, erasing. And I am for For Giving Love!
      Ron Alexander

I am meditating more and more especially out in sun. I went to a yoga nidra (conscious sleep) and there learned to count my breaths starting with 43 backwards, and that has helped me concentrate on the deep breathing I need to do. Plus, I have the latest book on Ho'Oponopono The Easiest Way - and that is about forgiving yourself moment to moment with all the thoughts and memories we have coming in every moment. And that has really helped me. Also, she recommends just using part ot the prayer "I am sorry, please forgive me, thank you, I love you." for a mantra which makes it much easier to "Pray without Ceasing."
I've been using the short version of the prayer you mentioned, shared it with some of my clients. It's really powerful.

Thanks , what I have really learned from Mabel Katz is that it is really for ourselves and then I added - "if we are all One, when you do it for yourself, you are forgiving All!" One Love, ron

Vagabonds, gypsies, restless wanderers
Star Seeds and path finders
Warriors, dreamers, lovers
Guides, shepherds, way showers
Mystics, knowers, and avatars”

Or simply, ages and ages hence
They’ll just muse in silence
Marveling that we found a way, to climb the Fence

        The Shift Remembered 12.21.2012

        A thousand years from now
If they remember us, or speak of us at all
May their words be gentle and kind
If they should remember this Miracle Time
... Perhaps they’ll say of Us:

“They were prophets, poets, priests and priestesses
        Conjurers, magicians, and seers
Cosmic visionaries with Third Eye sight
        Vagabonds, gypsies, restless wanderers
        Star Seeds and path finders
        Warriors, dreamers, lovers
        Guides, shepherds, way showers
        Mystics, knowers, and avatars”

Or simply, ages and ages hence
        They’ll just muse in silence
Marveling that we found a way, to climb the Fence
