She made it crystal clear that it's in the very act of trying to suppress, deny or move away from parts of ourselves that we sow the seeds for addictions, depression and feelings of lack of self-worth. Only as we learn to turn toward our "negative" feelings and get very curious -- opening a real dialogue with them about the information they bring -- do we forge the inner bonds that lead to wholeness and satisfying, unconditional love.
