"Keep going back to that inner child, he/she is alive in you." BK

Responsible for our Inner children too!

Ron Alexander: We must treat our inner children (infant, terrible twos- toddlers, pre-teenage, puberty tweeners, teenagers and young adults with love (tough love sometimes, respect, understanding and loving kindness).

Our responsibility IS to SUPPORT our children's spirit and emotional being" ~ ...Cheril'Sword ~

(*** MARY: Another way of saying that 'we are not responsible for their emotional well being is "we have no right to alter a person's spirit/emotional body" correct? We are born whole, when the emotional body, spirit, mental is altered, do we live in alignment with our true selves?)

Thank you Michele for bring that forward

 The Inner Child Reborn

Even as adults, we all still retain the positive, healthy aspect of our inner child that expresses innocence, exuberance, and hope. This fresh view of life comes from the true self, and is an egoless state that lives within us. In today’s meditation, we discover how to reawaken our own inner child, as well as encourage it in others.

As we learn this week to become a light of hope, it’s essential to remember that without filling our own cup first, we can’t truly give to others. Sleep is one of the most important (and often most overlooked) ways to deeply nourish yourself. In 7 Days to Restful Sleep.

Our centering thought for today is:
I see the hopeful inner child in everyone.
“Hope is the thing with feathers, / That perches in the soul, / And sings the tune without the words / And never stops at all…” – Emily Dickinson

Questions about our ego...zooming with Byron Katie

Ron, I see you, too.  I answered, but maybe you didn’t see it. Katie has said often, that she loves her ego but just does not mistake it for Herself.

I am a guardian of nature, as a healer of misery, as a messenger of wonder, as an architect of peace.

I swear I will not dishonor my soul with hatred, but offer myself humbly as a guardian of nature, as a healer of misery, as a messenger of wonder, as an architect of peace.
DIANE ACKERMAN

Martin Luther King Jr./Quotes
Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.
The time is always right to do what is right.
Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.

Life itself is grace...

Listen to your life. See it for the fathomless mystery that it is. In the boredom and pain of it, no less than in the excitement and gladness...because in the last analysis all moments are key moments and life itself is grace.

Spiritual Sanitizers

"Wash" and "Spray" yourself with these spiritual practices so we can utilize spirituality to help us stay healthy:
  • Affirmations: Know that in Truth you are Spirit, and whole and healthy and free. Rewire your brain from sickness thinking to healthy thinking.
  • Affirm and feel God in you as your strength
  • God in you can do anything but you have to let it happen
  • Pray affirmatively, knowing that Spirit is joining you in staying healthy and "sanitizing" you
  • Meditate using the techniques which heal your shadow side like mindfulness and vipassana
  • Yoga to spiritually exercise the body and whatever other physical exercises you may do
  • Of course, eat healthily, mindfully and spiritual

Bloom like a tree where you are planted....

May we never forget the crippled, wind-beaten trees, how they, too, bud, green and bloom. May we, too, take courage to bloom where we are planted.

"Most men (humans) live a life of quiet desperation."

I had not loved enough. I’d been busy, busy, so busy, preparing for life, while life floated by me, quiet and swift as a regatta.

We did not ask for this room or this music. But because we are here, let us dance.

We did not ask for this room or this music; we were invited in. Therefore, because the dark surrounds us, let us turn our faces toward the light. Let us endure hardship to be grateful for plenty...We did not ask for this room or this music. But because we are here, let us dance.

Gratitude and Generosity, Giving is receiving and receiving is giving~

Be grateful for what you have and be ready to share it when the time comes.
MICHELLE OBAMA

We cannot live for ourselves alone.

“We cannot live for ourselves alone. Our lives are connected by a thousand invisible threads, and along these sympathetic fibers, our actions run as causes and return to us as results.“

True Heroism

True heroism is remarkably sober, very undramatic. It is not the urge to surpass all others at whatever cost, but the urge to serve others, at whatever cost.

BECOME YOUR BROTHER'S AND SISTER'S KEEPERS....through CONNECTEDNESS!

When all the ordinary divides and patterns are shattered, people step up to become their brothers’ keepers. And that purposefulness and connectedness bring joy even amidst death, chaos, fear, and loss.

  • “A human being is a part of the whole called by us universe, a part limited in time and space. ...

When we are no longer able to change a situation, we are challenged to change ourselves. Victor Frankl

When we are no longer able to change a situation, we are challenged to change ourselves.
Everything can be taken from a man but one thing: the last of the human freedoms—to choose one’s attitude in any given set of circumstances, to choose one’s own way.
Between stimulus and response there is a space. In that space is our power to choose our response. In our response lies our growth and our freedom

There will be something, anguish or elation, that is peculiar to this day alone. I rise from sleep and say: Hail to the morning! Come down to me, my beautiful unknown.
