Blessing must arise from within your own mind. It is not something that comes from outside. When the positive qualities of your mind increase and the negativities decrease, that is what blessing means. The Tibetan word for blessing … means transforming into magnificent potential. Therefore, blessing refers to the development of virtuous qualities you did not previously have and the improvement of those good qualities you have already developed.

“There was never a night or a problem that could defeat sunrise or hope.”
Fear in the face of uncertainty can blind us to the infinite possibilities to come. Even in the midst of fear and anxiety, we possess the creative capability to overcome a situation and use it for our personal development.
In today’s meditation, we find that when hope is awakened in the silence of meditation, we become self-confident and fearless. This allows us to grasp the uncertain with calm and clarity, and find the opportunities for growth.
Our centering thought for today is: Hope makes me strong and secure.
