THE FIRST MEMORIAL DAY
Ron Alexander Thanks again, Sue Niske Willis this post helped me understand why: Why I am Pro-Peace and not anti-war?
As Mother Teresa said, when invited to an anti-war march, "I am not anti - anything. Give me a pro-peace march, and I will be there."
For myself, even though I have had many ancestors and a dear Brother killed in wars, some wars just had to be. The Civil war, WW2 and Korean wars (looking at North Korea's present state) are examples.

Thank you Sue, it was quite an honor to be a part of this magnificent event. And thanks again to Lorna Gethers Coakley for organising and inviting me. Healing the wounds of racism and wars ARE one of our Nation's vital tasks, and this event is an important step. I hope there are many more people (especially white) there next year. "One race, the human race, We are all ONE people." Lorna Gethers Coakley #BLACKLIVESMATTER
