The Stories we tell in our minds! Byron Katie has a great quotation: "Reality is often kinder than the stories we tell in our minds." That has been borne out repeatedly in my life. I remember one time with Erin I assumed that she was mad at me about something . I made up all this stuff in my head about her behavior and for two days I sulked and was worried. Ever do that to yourself? When I finally checked it out with her, she said: "what are you crazy?!" meaning none of what I had imagined was true.
Thoughts held in mind produce after their kind, even if it's just in our own heads!
