My new found clarity on why I am not anti-ego!

Just as Mother Teresa says the "I am not anti-war or not anti-anything for that matter, I am pro-peace." I AM NOT ANTI-EGO, I AM PRO-SPIRIT! To go against anything is from a toxic cognitive process or "stinking thinking" in 12-step parlance. Our problem is not the "ego" but our negative thinking. Speaking out against the "ego" is just more pollution in our world. Ron Alexander

Ron Alexander: Gut feeling which is termed instinct, as defined well by Cameron. In the other hand, there is intuition, which is more heart-centered. Both are vital, however as we grow and learn, then the higher heart,center becomes more important. The rational mind may be the middle road, which Freud called the "ego". He termed the instinct the "id", and I think the intuition was what he meant by the "superego"? Ron Alexander
