What keeps us in Illusion of Separateness?

"Identification with your mind creates an opaque screen of concepts, labels, images, words, judgments, and definitions that blocks all true relationship. It comes between you and yourself, between you and your fellow man and woman, between you and nature, between you and God. It is this screen of thought that creates the illusion of separateness, the illusion that there is you and a totally separate "other." You then forget the essential fact that, underneath the level of physical appearances and separate forms, you are one with with all that Is."

(thanks Sheila Saunders - From friend Gowri)

How do we get past out thoughts? - in deep silence. How do we get to silence? - in deep meditation. That is one path, as Gandhi says there are many paths to One Truth. What if Pure Silence equals Perfect Love? In my experience, reaching both is the same. After all Buddha says reaching "Emptiness" Nirvana - "Pure Bliss", and that has been my experience. Jesus's Transformative Path of Love includes "Perfect Love casts out all fear". However, Jesus does not say to stop your thinking, but to "renew your mind."  So Pure Silence to me is Perfect Love. Getting there by Meditation or by Renewing Mind by prayer or being aware of One's Thoughts . So is the One Truth Perfect Love? Since the Essence of our Being is Love, is the Essence of Silence the Same?

Buddha was right - It is wrong to think that misfortunes come from the east or from the west; they originate within one's own mind. Therefore, it is foolish to guard against misfortunes from the external world and leave the inner mind uncontrolled."

~ The Buddha
Jesus was right - "...be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind."

Photo: The flute of the Infinite is played without ceasing,
and its sound is love:

When love renounces all limits, it reaches truth.

How widely the fragrance spreads!
It has no end, nothing stands in its way.

The form of this melody is bright like a million suns:
 incomparably sounds the veena,
the veena of the notes of truth.
