Bouncing Back from Life-shattering World Events

Terrorist attacks continue to trigger emotional response all around the world.

Take a break from the news and social media
While it’s good to be informed, watching too much can increase stress.
Look for perspective Tragedies are relatively rare, and government agencies do have plans in place to maintain national safety and security.
Plan Developing an emergency plan may make you more feel in control. Pull together an emergency preparedness kit. (The Red Cross has some ideas.)
Be a helper Looking for ways to assist help others, whether through national, community or neighborhood groups, can also benefit the helper
