The Lesson of Cecil The Lion – Trophy Hunting and The Evolution of Consciousness
As the story of Cecil The Lion has shown us, trophy hunting is as best extreme cowardice, and at worst, psychopathy, satisfying nothing but the desire to kill. Devoid of empathy and detached from the interconnection of all things, the trophy hunter places little value in their own spiritual wellbeing let alone the value of other living beings. Operating only from a base, blood-thirsty level of consciousness, they are literally predators, spawned from a sense of spiritual incompleteness and disrespect for the value of life itself.
