Rev. Ed Kosak's Unity Charleston, S. C. thought for the week

Thought For the Week
This is the power of spirituality:
I attended the memorial service for my friend and minister to thousands, Rev. Richard Levy this weekend. It was a powerful service. Another minister friend of mine was there. He has been going through quite a bit of problems with an organization he belongs to (not his church), and after experiencing the memorial, he said: "After attending this, I now realize that all the STUFF we're going through in our "organization" means nothing really."
When we realize that Life is what we're about, and in the case of Richard, life which came to us through him, and in his death, and the blessing of being able to honor him, this gets us out of our narrow view of what life is about and we see the bigger picture. There's so much more...almost as if this life is an illusion.  It's like the goodness in the experiences we have here are meant to show us the other side of "The Matrix", or the Other Side period....what really matters, what really is. Thank you to my friend for opening up like that and thank you to Richard for being such a powerful person on this planet.
