Mark your calendars. The night of April 14–15 offers one of the most spectacular sky gazing sights of this year—a total eclipse of the Moon—visible throughout the U.S. and Canada! Find more info and a free Sky Map here: www.almanac.com/astr...onomy/skywatch

The partial phase begins at 1:58 A.M. EDT (on the 15th) and 10:58 P.M. PDT (on the 14th). Totality begins at 3:05 A.M. EDT (on the 15th) and just after midnight on the West Coast--lasting over an hour. See if you notice the Moon turning from its silvery color to a reddish-orange! If interested, read more and find viewing tips on our monthly Sky Watch
