The Post | Official Trailer [HD] | 20th Century FOX

1971, "The Government has been lying about the Vietnam for 30 yrs."
A cover-up that spanned four U.S. Presidents pushed the country's first female newspaper publisher and a hard-driving editor to join forces to defy Nixon and his gang.
A brilliant movie with many implications especially by vets. of that doomed war, and/or their survivors, like moi.
I watched the movie today, and another quote by Nixon and McNamara, that struck me was that 70% of reason for Nixon and Kissinger would not end war was the HUMILIATION they would feel of losing the first war in our history, My dear Brother died in 1969 for this DAMNED REASON. And guess what, in 1974 we were bounced out of Vietnam and they were HUMILIATED anyway at the cost of over 30,000(38000 of those 55000 plus) of our young men, including dear Brother Barry.  No wonder McNamara was so contrite asking for forgiveness after the war.
