Q: How can we give and receive, even in hard economic times?

Q: How can we give and receive, even in hard economic times?
You have always had hard economic times. And you have always had prosperous economic times... an abundant supply of both. These “times” are no different than any others that you have ever had throughout your life experience. The difference now is that so many of your fellows are convinced that times are bad.
And if you'll convince yourself that it just ain't so, then you will begin to experience something completely different than the others are experiencing. And now you have something to give. When you, by changing your personal vibration to one of prosperity, growth, abundance, in spite of all the gloom and doom on the TV and radio, or even in spite of your personal circumstances, when you begin to demonstrate success in even the littlest way, you really have something to crow about.
So the best thing you can do is to begin crowing about it now. Declare victory now. The Source of All Being gave it the instant you asked. Express your deep gratitude now to the Loving Universe that brought all of it to you in the first place.
Your world is not as hard as you think it is, not as solid as you imagine it to be. It is malleable. It's like a clay pot on the potter's wheel. Just add some water, give it a spin, and you can remold it into any shape you want. You can mold prosperity out of despair. You can mold wealth out of poverty. You can snatch health from the jaws of disease. But first you must believe. You must believe that in spite of its solid appearance, that is not the way it has to be. It can be reshaped, reformed, remolded, into the shape of your desiring.
The world reforms itself every night when you sleep; reorganizes itself while you meditate; redesigns itself when you pray, and your imagination is prayer. So sing the songs of abundance and well-being now. Tell the story of your successful ending now. Declare victory and give a shout of celebration to the Loving Creator who made it all. The Law of Creation will deliver it into your physical field of being as soon as you gratefully acknowledge and deeply appreciate it’s nonphysical, ideational, reality first.
Namaste,

It is well to give when asked, but it is better to give unasked, through understanding. Kahlil Gibran
