Blessing must arise from within your own mind. It is not something that comes from outside. When the positive qualities of your mind increase and the negativities decrease, that is what blessing means. The Tibetan word for blessing … means transforming into magnificent potential. Therefore, blessing refers to the development of virtuous qualities you did not previously have and the improvement of those good qualities you have already developed. ― Dalai Lama XIV

Blessing Hearts
I will order cedar hearts that will have "Be a Blessing" carved on it. and they will be sold to benefit needy children. I wrote this little "ditty" below as kind of a country song with a "inspirational" theme hopefully.
Now I am confessing
Most of my life I haven't been a blessing.
Given the Lord's Free Will.
I have found I have a choice -
Curse or rejoice.
I choose - I can lose or
If I refrain from being a curse,
Most of my life I haven't been a blessing.
Given the Lord's Free Will.
I have found I have a choice -
Curse or rejoice.
I choose - I can lose or
If I refrain from being a curse,
I can gain.
Every morning I decide
Go against the tide
Or joyously ride.
Sometimes it feels like
Its not in my hands.
That's true, so I surrender
And remember, "This is the day
The Lord has made, rejoice and be glad in It."
And that's every day.
I can choose to be a blessing
Sometimes its confusing and it's irony
By surrendering, I can be free.
I must remember its my choice
To curse or rejoice.
I will keep on confessing and
Deciding to be a blessing.
Every morning I decide
Go against the tide
Or joyously ride.
Sometimes it feels like
Its not in my hands.
That's true, so I surrender
And remember, "This is the day
The Lord has made, rejoice and be glad in It."
And that's every day.
I can choose to be a blessing
Sometimes its confusing and it's irony
By surrendering, I can be free.
I must remember its my choice

I will keep on confessing and
Deciding to be a blessing.

Blessed are the children, who will lead the way.

THANK YOU, GOD, FOR CHILDREN-YOUR VISION FOR GREATER GOOD IN THE WORLD
Children-what a blessing they are in my life. From their innocence, purity, freedom, and guileless natures, I learn to take one day, one moment, at a time.
Children are my guides through the maze of life's mysteries. I bless these wonderful miracles in my life, children who are my teachers, my reminders that each moment can be a new beginning.
Whereever they are, whatever they are doing, these young ones are growing, learning, and adapting to the environment in which they live. Giving thanks for all the children, I appreciate them as God's vision for the greater good in the world.
"But take care and watch yourselves closely, so as neither to forget the things that your eyes have seen not to let them slip from your mind all the days of your life; make them known to your children and your children's children." Daily Word 41 (Sept. 26, 2007)

The Powerful Blessings of Prayers
After writing the previous post, I received this email from Angela (truly an angel) Baker, the well-known gospel singer: God works in mysterious wonderful ways
There is no cost but a lot of rewards. Let's continue to pray for one another.
The prayer:
Father, I ask You to bless my friends, relatives and those that I care deeply for, who are reading this right now. Show them a new revelation of Your love and power. Holy Spirit, I ask You to minister to their spirit at this very moment. Where there is pain, give them Your peace and mercy. Where there is self-doubt, release a renewed confidence through Your grace. Where there is need, I ask you to fulfill their needs. Bless their homes, families, finances, their goings and their comings. In Jesus' precious name. Amen.

I Accept My Good and Then Pass It On a Blessing to Others
PASS IT ON
I have been blessed with people who have been my positive role models and mentors.
Through the contributions of these thoughtful people, I have learned about loving and caring for others, the importance of sharing the resources available to me with those in need, the joy of giving a kind gesture to someone who needs a caring touch.
Those who have treated me with respect and dignity have taught me the importance of embracing all people who inhabit our world. There are those I do bless, as I pass on the love, respect and kindness I have received. The actions I take today have the potential to change a life for the better. My personal, sacred mission is to pass on to others the peace, love, hope and joy within me.
The Lord is faithful in all his words, and gracious in all his deeds. Psalm 145:13

Inquiry -
What are you not doing, dear one that you wish you were ?
xx/h
Dear Hanna Angel, that is a good question. Accepting that I am in the perfect place at the perfect time, I am catching more and more glimpses of joyous peace in my life. I am so grateful to be here now, that I answer your question with this question: How can I maintain my presently growing sense of being a blessing to myself as well as to others?
I think the answer is in continuing to consciously turnaround my thoughts from any that hurt to those that bless with my words and actions reflecting my merciful thoughts.
Thank you Hanna Angel, keep up with the inquiry, Ron
When you meet anyone, remember it is a Holy encounter. As you see him you will see yourself. As you treat him you will treat yourself. As you think of him you will think of yourself. Never forget this, for in him you will find yourself or lose yourself. T, 132
