Ron Alexander: Agree Bob, does a "better future" mean feeling the Peace, Joy & Love NOW? All is well, be at peace for you are One with Love!
Today I did not feel physically well. yet there were a few things that really essential to be done, and through prayer and meditation and support of a friend, I was able to slowly though mindfully get them done. This left me feeling with a sense of accomplishment and achievement that is peacefulness and contentment. I know that I can get things done even when not feeling well with support, and that leaves me with a more secure feeling for the future.
I know that when you feel the strong support of a partner, friends/community, that you feel more optimistic about the future. The key is to take responsibility to keep them and do what it takes individually (meditation, prayer, affirmation) in the moment.

In All Things of Nature
In all things of nature
there is something of the marvelous.

The Bristlewood Pine below from the White Mountains in California is one of the oldest Beings in the world - several thousand years old.
And these magnificent Beings grow 7 to 9 thousand feet high in acidic soil on the North side where nothing else can grow!
These amazing Tree Beings are vivid examples of Thriving instead of just surviving - such tenacity & perserverance despite the harshest of conditions!
Interestingly, the local community finally stopped LA water thieft (I still saw signs around some creeks declaring that it belonged to LA county) by suing them for Air Pollution, as the near empty Mono Lake sent out all kinds of toxic fumes!

Creator of the One Universe With Different Paths

There’s only one universe and you are in the middle of it with your whole being. Your whole being is that universe.
There are no parts of it that are inaccessible to you, there are no parts of it that are separate from you. You are Creator: You are not different from that One. Allow good to flow wherever you can find it, and focus your attention on nothing else. When you do this you will find it everywhere, even in those people and places that others want to write off. Nothing is written off in God’s World, Eden, Oneness — everything has a place and the place is good.

Guest: “Sometimes I feel like I shouldn’t allow myself to feel good about things in the past: like I feel guilty, or I guess I have some resistance to remembering good old stuff because that makes me seem like I’m being an old fart or a has-been. On the other hand if it feels good I guess I should allow it.”
Twelve: Your experience has caused you to discover what feels good and what doesn’t; that is how you make the decisions, you see. If you disallow the good feeling ones then all you can possibly have left is the ones that don’t. We would value those memories highly, not because you want to go back — that’s the key. Value them because they feel good. And because they feel good, if you allow them, then you will align yourself more and more with that which feels good in your present/future experience as well.
That which was and what will be and what is, are all coincident. And if you will tap into that energy of good, no matter where you find it, and let go of your resistance to feeling good about any of it, then you will find that you can leverage your present vibration with both the past and the future.
Leveraging is what this is all about, and you should use everything you can access. In other words you cannot offer resistance to good over here, and have good appear over there. It doesn’t work that way because there really is no separation between what was and what is and what will be; there is no separation between here and there.
