I found that I was still very much alive, very conscious, more aware than ever--so MUCH more. Actually, when I came back into body consciousness....after the medical folks "revived" me, I felt less alive again...but more awake in a sense. But it was at that point that I began to pay attention to the still small voice in me that all along had been whispering to me the divine secrets of the ONE I AM, of which I now KNOW I AM an expression. (And so it is; and so are we ALL).
Blessing must arise from within your own mind. It is not something that comes from outside. When the positive qualities of your mind increase and the negativities decrease, that is what blessing means. The Tibetan word for blessing … means transforming into magnificent potential. Therefore, blessing refers to the development of virtuous qualities you did not previously have and the improvement of those good qualities you have already developed. ― Dalai Lama XIV
