Healing Stories for Vets

A luncheon was held after the parade, during the luncheon, a Vet Story presentation was made to Vietnam Veteran William Britton. Britton was presented with a framed collage of photos depicting his life and service to our country. I find that these Veterans being able to have their stories listened to and then presented is a very healing process! So I listen and write some of them up with their permission of course. A 94 year old WW 11 vet. has allowed me to record his awesome story of being in combat in the Pacific for three awful years after he was drafted as a very young man. I am honored and blessed to be a volunteer with these wonderful heroes! Ron Alexander
