THE PATH TO EMPOWERMENT Day 9 — The Power to Find Real Achievement and Success

Day 9 — The Power to Find Real Achievement and Success  Deepok Chopra

Today we explore empowerment as it expresses itself in our work, career, or the major “job” we have in our life (such as raising our children). We have been taught from an early age that the job we have as an adult is a large part of our identity, our self-worth, and our power. But self-worth and power based on external circumstances will forever be dependent upon changing factors outside our control. That is not real self-esteem or true empowerment.

In today’s meditation, we learn that when we expand our awareness and live in the present moment, we discover our worth, power, and purpose within. That connection to the power of the universe gives us the strength and guidance to be successful in whatever our current work may be. This is self-worth and empowerment that no one, nor any changing situation, can take from us.

Our centering thought for today is:
I am the most successful when I feel my self-worth.

THE PATH TO EMPOWERMENT Day 8 — The Power to Find Safety and Security

Day 8 — The Power to Find Safety and Security  Deepok Chopra

One of the common motivations we all have for becoming empowered is to be strong enough to feel secure and safe wherever we are. We want to have a foundation inside that allows us to be both stable and resilient in the face of life’s challenges and losses. We can never develop an abiding sense of security and strength by defending and fortifying ourselves against the unknown. If we feel weak and insecure, our fear will always remain despite our defenses.

In today’s meditation, we learn that only inner security and strength can give us the feeling of real safety and peace we are looking for. That power comes from our silent self we experience when we are living in the moment and when we settle into pure awareness during meditation.

THE PATH TO EMPOWERMENT Day 7 — The Beauty of Power without Ego

Day 7 — The Beauty of Power without Ego

We don’t often associate power with the concept of beauty, because we usually connect great power in Nature with great destruction – earthquakes, hurricanes, forest fires – but those are extreme examples of Nature. It is easy to overlook the everyday sort of power such as gravity holding the planets, stars, and galaxies together in beautiful orbital patterns. Every year the magnificent power of Spring brings a tremendous resurgence of growth and rebirth in the plant and animal worlds, silently yet beautifully.

In today’s meditation, we look within at the power emerging in our life and recognize the force of our love, compassion, joy, strength, creativity, intelligence, and purpose is truly beautiful because it is connected with the grace and balance of Mother Nature herself.

Our centering thought for today is:
I choose the power of compassion, love, and kindness.

The Path to Empowerment. Day 6, Deepok Chopra

Day 6 — The Secret of Soft Power

Today’s meditation is about soft power and how the kindness, respect, curiosity, and love in our heart is a more powerful force of good than the hard power we see around us. Most of us have learned that to be powerful and succeed, we need to use force, intimidation, and dominance. But this hard power is always based on temporary advantages and therefore it hides fear underneath it.

Soft power, on the other hand, comes from an ever-present awareness of our Being that supports and connects us all. From this place of understanding, compassion, and receptivity, we can remain in our strength and empowerment while we find common ground and mutually agreeable solutions to life’s conflicts and challenges.

THE PATH TO EMPOWERMENT, Day 5 Reconnecting to our true Self! Deepok Chopra

Day 5 — Reconnecting Here and Now

When our consciousness is settled and centered, we are living in the now and are connected to our power and strength. But when we are tired, stressed, and anxious, we can easily get out of balance and feel cut off from our power. In today’s meditation, we learn how to recognize when have lost touch with our inner strength and balance, and discover how we can reconnect. We see that by to returning to present awareness, we gain access to empowerment, balance, ease, and effectiveness.
LOG IN TO MEDITATE
Our centering thought for today is:
When I reconnect, I am the best version of myself.

Day 4 — The Most Powerful Force in the World

We tend to think powerful people have forceful personalities with strong egos and a confident self-image. But self-images are only perceptions of our self, not the real self. So simply working on changing your self-image from weak and disempowered to strong and powerful is only changing your mask.

In today’s meditation, we understand and experience the genuine power and fulfillment that comes from living in the present. It is by living in the now that the strength of our real self shows its true nature, and life proceeds gracefully, joyfully, and harmoniously.

“Never worry about anything. Live in the present. Live now. Be happy.” — Marsilio Ficino

Day 3 — Power Begins with Clarity

In today’s meditation, we explore the connection between self-awareness and empowerment. When we believe our identity is defined by our changing bodies and transitory thoughts and feelings, then our foundation of power and strength will always be weak. However, in clearly knowing that our true nature is unlimited present awareness, we have the unbounded power of Nature to support our body, mind, and feelings in every endeavor. With the clarity of self-knowledge we have the power to transform our life.
LOG IN TO MEDITATE
Our centering thought for today is:
I am clear that anything is in my power to change.
“We should not fret for what is past, nor should we be anxious about the future; men of discernment deal only with the present moment.” — Chanakya
Day 2 — Being Powerful Is a Choice

The power we use in our lives is based on a choice. But it’s not an ego choice of “I want this and not that.” In today’s meditation, we learn that the real choice of empowerment is to live in the present moment, or not. This is a different kind of choice than we are used to. The decision to live in the now means we consciously, knowingly recognize that awareness is our true nature, instead of ignoring that truth. When we see our self as a separate ego, trying to get power to make us happy, we will always feel weak inside. When we are self-aware in the present moment, we are connected to the infinite power of creation, and feel the confidence and strength that comes with having the support of the universe within us.
LOG IN TO MEDITATE
Our centering thought for today is:
I choose to live from the level of my true self.
“There is only one time that is important – now! It is the most important time because it is the only time when we have any power.” — Leo Tolstoy
Day 1 — Self-Empowerment Is Yours to Awaken

Welcome to our 21-Day Experience, The Path to Empowerment. Today we begin our journey to discover the unlimited power within all of us. We will explore the many different types of inner power and how we can utilize them to actualize our inherent potential and fulfill our desires for a healthier, happier, and more loving life. The power within our Being is the full power of the universe, and we can access and use this energy in all aspects of our life – physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual.

In today’s meditation, we understand that the source of power is not outside of us. Real strength is not brute force, intimidation, or physical dominance. That is a limited, fear-based kind of power. True power is the unbounded, creative, nurturing force of Nature that expresses itself through our innermost awareness – our empowered self.
