Meneesha Michalka, J.D.
Meneesha Michalka is a criminal lawyer and is Secretary of the Perth Centre for Attitudinal Healing. Meneesha is passionate about Attitudinal Healing as a life skill for people of all ages and backgrounds and as an early intervention tool for young people – particularly at-risk and disadvantaged children.In 2010 complications from knee surgery left her disabled, requiring the use of a wheelchair and crutches, as well as needing to take multiple medications for nerve damage. Unable to work for 12 months, undergoing daily rehabilitation and dealing with extreme nerve pain, she researched heavily into mechanisms for combating chronic pain, depression and anxiety. Now fully recovered, Meneesha is committed to spreading the Principles of Attitudinal Healing that were so instrumental in her recovery. To that end, she has initiated and coordinated “Beating the Black Dog” workshops, and helps present these to the general public, Attitudinal Healing groups, and professional bodies.
