Loving Me is Loving You.

In Lak’ech Ala K’in
I AM another YOU
YOU ARE another ME
WE ARE ONE
ONE IS ALL
ALL IS LOVE

Merkabah An EnergyofSource: then how can we do anything but LOVE!
XLaurie Marinelli: Amen sister, Amen

And loving has to start with ourselves. How much loving kindness can you give yourself? how gentle can you be with yourself? Unconditional love starts within and overflows to All.

I choose to see and be the Angel of Love's Light. I AM
Instead of listening to illusory conditioned thoughts of "less than", I will breathe before I act and let go of the need to be in control. Instead I will be apart of the Miracle thatr is and know that Loving me in LOVing YOU is the BEST & PUREst way possible.

Barb Walker: There's a wonderful song from the 70's by Cris Williamson called Waterfall. Some of the lyrics are "When you open your life to
the living, all things come spilling in on you. And you’re flowing like a river, the changer and the changed. You got to spill some over, spill some over, spill some over, over all. . ."

Noy Traba-g: I used to start from the outside (coz the time, that was what I thought made sense) ... now realizing that it just have to really start from within - how can one pour out love to the others if he himself is weak. And I get away from the > ...'I will or shall' ... onto 'I AM'. 'I am light', or 'beautiful', or 'love', and more. All of you/us would then be feelign the beauty in us ... and be that light ... and love/be loved. Ohhhhhh ... I'm so full of it - I better do deliveries to the world. I love you world, I love you Ron, I love you all!!!!! Joy, joy, joy-noy!

Laurie, thanks for the great "relationship poster" - I will share it.

"Enjoy the opportunities to allow others to see how much you love yourself."
RON-I am glad you enjoyed the poster, I thought it to be insightful and hopeful. I pray it blesses your new relationship. (well, there is a possibility of a new relationship?)
I do enjoy the opportunities of allowing others to see how much I love myself.I leave (she left group I was leading) when I have to tend to my heart, or protect myself from old hurts(projection). Sometimes I piss people off, when I am true to me. This is not my intention. I set out to love myself, and embrace my life as an instrument of peace, joy, love, healing and kindness every day, surrendering all I am to God.
Thank you for your kindness Ron, it is deeply appreciated.
Love to you both

Bobby Hinkle: Rumors have reached me from people associated with my youth that I have forsaken traditional doctrine and become a false prophet. Okay! To me, dogma is nothing but a deception of ego that keeps us from seeking the truth, which is the Oneness of love that we all have possessed from the beginning, and has nothing to do with "correct" doctrine. If I'm a false prophet for saying this, then so be it.

To release fear is to heal on t...he deepest levels of this human experience...it is to know our innate freedom...unbound and totally free to more fully express Love...to be the truest expressions of Love possible in our current state, which by the very nature of Creation Herself is ever deepening and expanding...exponentially. ~♥~ नमस्ते ~♥~ Brian:

XLaurie Marinelli:Thank you Ron....you always have a poetic way with your messages....Can you tell me though, does grace supercede Karma? are apologies ever necessary? .
Sonya Griffis: Laurie... the other is only there as a mirror. It is a path that will you will perceive as only another's, but that is false. Their issues become your issues. They are your mirror. People are placed into your path that will challenge you to keep your heart open throughout your life, so that you may learn virtues. How else would one grow? It is necessary and it is good. Try to view it as the true opportunity for growth that it is.

One does not need to apologize for they have their own path. That does not in any way mean you must associate with them continually. What is does mean is that you must forgive completely. You are not hurting/punishing or teaching them by closing your heart luv. That only holds you back from your full potential.

The only virtue more important than grace is humility. Humility does not mean to downplay your talents or make yourself less important than another. What it means is to not think of yourself at all. Without humility as the essential root of all other virtues one cannot know true love, forgiveness, compassion, etc.

Lastly, if you allow another to cause reactions in you, you become their puppet and they therefore control you rather than you learning control and embracing the lines above.

I hope this gives you food for thought.
Many blessings of grace and love are already on their way to you.

Any bringing of blame further into the present becomes needless, and freedom of peaceful acceptance of self follows. : ) .

As Artists Seek to Imbibe the Essence of Beauty, I Drink in Love All Around Me

"This Love is a healing power touching everything into wholeness, healing the wounds of experience with its divine balm."
How to Keep the Faith!
I was asked a challenging question the other day, "how do you keep the faith"?
After baking it in the oven of my mind and heart for a couple of days, here is what I come up with - When there is a direct experience of Divine Love, "faith" is not even needed. So "keeping the faith" to me is to keep experiencing those Holy Presents. To be present to those Sacred Gifts.
How does one increase the Direct Divine Experiences, therefore keeping the faith?
"Praying without ceasing" is definitely a way to keep the faith. Meditating alot - I combine the two! Service - Seva is another way. Devotion to the Divine (Bhakti Yoga) is a prime spiritual path for keeping the faith. Giving and receiving the Oneness Blessing is giving and recieving the Sacred Healing Energy of Divine Love, so I participate in three groups and have several one on one sessions during the week.
"This Love is a healing power touching everything into wholeness, healing the wounds of experience with its divine balm."
Reading and writing inspirational writing is another way of keeping the faith. I am inspired by the "Daily Wisdom" of Ernest Holmes and today's Wisdom is especially affirmative:

"The law of the Lord is perfect," and the law of the Lord is love. You are made perfect in the law when you enter into conscious communion with Love. It is only through love that the law can fulfill itself in your experience, because love harmonizes everything, unifies everything. You can never make the most perfect use of the law of your life unless that use is motivated by love. You must imbibe its spirit. This love is more than a sentiment. It is a deep sense of the underlying unity, beauty, and majesty of all life, the goodness running through everything, the givingness of Life to everything.
Say: today I bestow the essence of Love upon everything. Everyone shall be lovely to me. My soul meets the soul of the universe in everyone. Everything is beautiful: everything is meaningful. This Love is a healing power touching everything into wholeness, healing the wounds of experience with its divine balm.
I know that this Love Essence is the very Substance of Life, the creative Principle back of everything, flowing through my whole being, spiritual, mental, and physical. It flows in transcendent loveliness into my world of thought and form, ever renewing, vitalizing, bringing joy, harmony and blessings to everything and everyone it touches.

Ron Alexander: I have had a habit of beating myself up - being my own worst critic since being abused as a ...small child. And that is why I teach it--teach what you want to learn. Reminding others reminds myself. Here is what I wrote the other day: "As Artists...(above)
Comment by Imelda Maguire (on Crone to the Bone): When I read the first line of your message, "This Love is a healing power touching everything into wholeness, healing the wounds of experience with its divine balm." a great wash of tears fl...owed endlessly like a giant tidal wave from the depths of my soul.

Comment by Jeanne (founder of Crone to the Bone) Thank-you Ron for the beautiful words that calm my critical mind... balancing, balancing, continually balancing.
Speaking of the beautiful full Pisces moon... it is an interesting moon. Accept & Love Yourself First

"The purpose of Human life, no matter who is controlling it, is to love whoever is around & to be loved"...Kurt Vonnegut

What is most important is to go deep into ourselves and discover the loving kindness and compassion of the Buddha within - the awakened nature we all possess. Shinjo Ito

RELATIONSHIPS by Sharon Taphorn "Angel Wisdom" playingwiththeuniverse.ning.com

"To attract, heal, or balance relationships is to realize that the most important relationship you have is with yourself, every other relationship follows from there."
The relationships in our lives are vast and many. If you have an imbalance in your relationship with yourself, it is reflected in your relationships with others. Spend time getting to know and love yourself. What qualities do you love about yourself? What don't you love about yourself? Focus on your wonderful qualities and work on
loving the ones you don't, as well as the ones you would like to have.

Angel wisdom reminds you that you are truly a beautiful and special person. You are worthy of healthy, balanced relationships, and to trust in yourself to make wise and honourable decisions. Most often blocks we have in attracting or healing relationships are rooted in an emotional experience from childhood or within a past or existing relationship. Ask your inner child what relationships mean to you in general and/or a specific relationship so that you can better understand and heal. Then,in your mind and your heart, surround yourself, the situations, and the person(s) with calming pink light and ask the angels to help you. Be open to the gifts within each situation and allow yourself to feel thelove and peace.

Affirm often:"I am love, I am loved."

Excellent post Sharon, Mother Teresa reminded us "We are created to love and be loved." And that has to start with ourselves! Love and accepting ourselves unconditionally is a prequisite to loving others wholly (Holy).

‎"When we begin to accept ourselves exactly as we are, experiencing the full content of each moment without conflict or resistance, and join together around the world with others whose hearts are flowering, the Light of Infinite Love will flood the Earth!" -MM
(Micheal Milner of Florida Oneness, a trainer with the Oneness Movement)
The Oneness Movement is different from the Sacred Relationship work in that we are taught to accept ourselves first.
Julie Redstone from the video Sacred Relationships:
"One of the primary foundations for a sacred friendship is the ability to accept the other as they are now, yet simultaneously to be able to see beyond this to who they might become."

Swami Bhagavan (Oneness Movement Co-founder along with his wife Amma) says "We must love ourselves first before we can love others."

From Sacred Relationships - Creating a Sacred Community

Sacred Relationships Theonesoul Written by Julie Redfield (transcribed from the video "Sacred Relationships - Julie Redstone video by BetterWorld4YouandMe the onenesslovefoundation

Sacred Relationships are based on devotion - on seeing God within Creation and wanting to love and serve all life.

This desire to heal, to support, love and uphold others because they are part of God and carry a seed of divinity within is what lies at the root of a sacred relationship.

Such a desire comes from the heart, from a sensibility that perceives an invisible layer of truth behind the visible aspect of life. It does not come from knowing details about another nor from length of time with another.

It does not come from considering the other a personal friend, nor from their being a part of one's family. A sacred relationship comes from the recognition of another as a soul.

To have a sacred relationship is to be a friend of the soul of another being. It is to see the other as a soul, and to meet the other as a soul.

Most relationships in life are not established in this way. Most are based on personal preference, linking one personality with another. This is a limited way of seeing people, though an authentic one.

It is a way that corresponds to a level of consciousness which has not yet achieved a certain spiritual depth. Here, what is presented as reality, namely, the persona or external face of another is accepted as who they are.

When we view others in this way, we do not see who they are meant to be or who thehy will eventually become. We see them in terms of who they think they are or who they believe themselves to be.

This is the most common form of relating today, reflecting a level of development that will one day become something else. For it is not the most profound or truest way for us to know one another. It is not a friendship of the soul.

To experience a friendship of the soul, one must have the desire to do so. One must have a desire for a deeper and purer love (greater or Divine love in my words)that does not exist in the realm of need or at the surface of self, but rather in the realm of radiance and of blessing.

Love such as this seeks to give to others and to participate in God's love for Creation. It does not seek another's company in order to fill the holes within the self or the empty places within another.

Such a purity of love can only blossom in the absence of need when we experience the other as beloved. When this happens, a loving heart can form sacred friendships in its meeting with anyone and everyone.

Yet, how is it possible to be with others beyond need? This can only take place when two strive for wholeness within themselves are centered in God and seek wholeness within, rather than making it dependant upon someone else.

In a sacred relationship, the desire for healing, both for oneself and for others, is met in a different way. Here, it is God who is sought at times of need, replacing projection and distortion with the possibility for clearer sight (clarity in my words) and knowledge (wisdom in my words).

One of the primary foundations for a sacred friendship is the ability to accept the other (accepting yourself first is a primary principle in the Oneness Movement, so I say that is the only flaw in Julie Redstone's otherwise brilliant Sacred Relationship writing) as they are now, yet simultaneously to be able to see beyond this to who they might become.
-Micheal Milner of Florida Oneness, a trainer with the Oneness Movement has this to say about Self-acceptance:"When we begin to accept ourselves exactly as we are, experiencing the full content of each moment without conflict or resistance, and join together around the world with others whose hearts are flowering, the Light of Infinite Love will flood the Earth!"

If our need of another is great, we will not be able to see the other as they are now because our wishes for how they should be will get in the way. Our clarity will be limited by our needs and fears.

To have a sacred friendship is a matter of learning to draw from the well of our inner being in order to find nourishment and love.

In the end, embodying healing love defines the nature of a sacred friendship and the nature of a sacred human.

Such a nature seeks to radiate blessings to the world and to participate in the life of the planet - a life in which the consciousness of one is offered to another so that humanity can be changed one by one.

Out of this intention, life becomes transformed so that it is no longer a personal life that we live, but a universal life - one that seeks to give to all and to share love with all.

Such a life is wedded to the goal of happiness and healing for an entire planet.

As we strive to meet others in this way, we assist in the becoming of others so that each may recognize the deeper truth within.

It is to give wings and light to what may be heavy or covered over in another, so that the soul of the other can emerge into the light of day and, through love, can learn how to fly.

Blessed is this time of awakening to the nature of the spiritual universe. May all beings come to recognize their oneness as souls and open to the great beauty and intimacy of a reality in which all are connected, and no one is alone.

Today I Claim my Divine Inheritance

I Claim my Divine Inheritance
The riches, power, glory, and might of the Kingdom of God are mine today. I recognize that all people belong to this Kingdom. We all can claim riches, power, joy, and abundance.
The eternal now is forever filled with the presence of perfect life. I am a complete and perfect expression of the Eternal Mind, which is the Divine, the living Spirit Almighty.
Knowing that all experience is a play upon Life Itself, the blossoming of love into self-expression, the coming forth of good into the joy of its own being, I enter into the game of living with joyful anticipation, with enthusiasm. Today I enter into my Divine Inheritance, shaking my thought clear from the belief that external conditions are imposed upon me. I declare the freedom of my Divine nature.

paraphrased from Ernest Holmes A YEAR OF DAILY WISDOM - Aug. 19th

Thanks for your insight Ron. I love, love, love the quote! It is all just that simple. I find that so many times we put people up on pedestals and really we are all equal - we all know the answers to the questions we seek, if only we would quiet our minds, open our hearts and listen. Since we actually are all one, that simple action of connecting with ourselves in truth is how we connect to All. ( not just us humans, but also the animals, plants, air, earth - EVERYTHING!) Wooooo how exciting is that! Thank you Ron for being such a divine instrument of the Oneness Blessing. Namaste'

Ron Alexander Here’s an affirmation to help you:
Laurie sent me this affirmation from "Stewart's Bliss Blog"
I am an extension of Source energy.
Source energy IS my source.
It is the Source of all life.
...Source is ABUNDANT.
Therefore, I AM abundant.
There can be NO LACK for LACK cannot be manifest.
Nothing cannot become something.
Darkness is the absence of light.
I choose now to tune myself to the frequency of ABUNDANCE
And I now see that Abundance is everywhere
It has become visible to me
And was always there
And Is Always There
Forever
I Feel Abundant!

No Limits to Loving

Laurie put this out tonight after the most loving Oneness Blessing Group (at Unity) imaginable, however I am not putting any limits on my loving, and I am sure rest of group agrees! Loving Oneness, ron

ONENESS & LOVE DEFINITION OF ONENESS:one·ness (wnns) n.1. The quality or state of being one; singleness or wholeness.2. Singularity; uniqueness.3. A state or condition of perfect harmony or accord4. Sameness of char...
Michael Milner: Do not consider yourself to be ordinary beings. Each of you has the infinite powers of the Divine within you. You have the power to see God in the heart of every human being, & once you begin you will be able to love every living being, every individual. Eat, Pray & Love

"God dwells in me, as me." Julia Robert's character summing up the most important "mantra" she learned in Ashram in "Eat, Pray & Love."
and her Balinese teacher Ketut telling her "Look throught the heart and look good."

What I enjoyed the most about "Eat, Love and Pray":
1."God dwells in me, as me.
2. "The sweetness of doing nothing."
3. Italy - best meal I ever had was when I was lost in non-tourist part of Rome - mid-afternoon, and restaurant was still fairly crowded inside and outside with very happy... satiated people. Well-dressed waiters treated this blue-jeaned "hippie" like a King.
4. India - I really enjoyed the Ashram scenes in particular, and the encouraging affirmations "Julia Roberts" gave the young bride.
5. Bali - my fav. island in the world - the people who live there really love tourists willing to be taught. They love massages, and are the most creative people I have ever seen. They live in family compounds - houses surrounding a courtyard with a different generation in each house. That must have been West coast of Bali, because the East Coast has more beaches and less rocks. Gorgeous scenery.
6. Brazilian people are the most hugging and least afraid of being loving than any I have met. I am glad Julia "crossed over" with him.
7. Scene of ex-husband happy with wife and little kid. And other ex. apparently doing well as an actor.
8. White balding graying bearded Southerners can be alright!

Kahu Kahealani Kawaiolamanaloa Satchitananda: Mereana Taki: If you are confused in your thinking ...drop out of your Mind (literally) and down into your Heart ...and then 'think' from there.Silence is not the absence of anything ...it is the presence sacred and intentional of everythin...g. ♥

"Listen: this world is the lunatic's sphere, don't always agree it's real. Even with my feet upon it and the postman knowing my door - my address is somewhere else." ~ Hafiz♥ Pure Joy, Pure Aloha ♥
We are total objective absence, which is the presence of that-I-amness, which is what-I-amness, which is this-I-amness.
Ramesh Balsekar

Instead of reading the Avadhuta Gita only, Mooji starts with an unusually detailed commentary on its verses: You are the one Purity, you are not the mind, not the body... but the conscious presence, 'I AM' has become distorted through identification with the body and mind phenomena. A questioner relates his path of 'issues and tissues' until Mooji interrupts and sent all of it into 'the land of was'. Even if we don't feel bliss, we are still the choiceless self... we don't need any 'Buddha Certificate'. Even if we see the world as a movie, there is still a subtle form of 'me'-self. What is aware of it? Another questioner triggers uproars of laughter in the room, as his question crumbles each time he attempts to present it as, "The question was..." After the laughter settles, Mooji emphasises: "The question WAS!"

I AM a channel of Your Blessings

I Am a channel of Your blessings, thanks to Your Divine Grace, use me that I may know the joy and glory of Oneness with Your Love.
Thanks Lesta Sue for this: "As we practice humility we accept who we are and what we have to offer and give it without hesitation." Felicia Blanco Searcy .... It fits perfectly here, don't you think?

The Difference between "I am sorry" & "I AM a channel":
Re: the Ho'Oponopono prayer on post below: ("I am sorry, please forgive me...thank you. I love you.)

Laurie Marinelli I am going in to the Oneness pool....cover me.
I've been ruminating the phrase " I am sorry".....I just don't like the I AM statement followed by sorry (def: regretful: feeling or expressing regret or sorrow or a sense of loss over something ...done or undone; "felt regretful over his vanished youth"; "regretful over mistakes she had made"; "he felt bad about breaking the vase"...

Ron Alexander: Dear Laurie, I understand your concern, however think of this prayer being just between you and the Divine. It has been used many years from a Kahuna - a woman named Morna! It helps me feel humble, as I try to say it everytime I have a negative thought, which, unfortunately is still often. It works - don't mess with success! as One, ron
Dear Laurie, I am glad you are joining the Oneness Movement! And thank you for helping me clarify a "I am" statement vs. an "I Am" statement - here is an "I Am" statement I created this AM:
I Am a channel of Your blessings, thanks to Your Divine Grace, use me that I may know the joy and glory of Oneness with Your Love.
"Be as One", ron .

Laurie Marinelli: Reply : Well Done You!

Patricia Gianniou: The words, "I am" are Divine words of creation ... powerful whether in caps or lower case ... "Through these two words may we understand creation, oh Great Spirit" ... Peace and LOVE to All ...
Ron Alexander: With all due respect, in the Spirit Realm of the "Great I AM" there is no need for forgiveness. Maybe you (You) are There, not me yet, and I am enjoying my Temple of the Holy Spirit much right now, right here. I believe in St. Francis's ending of his Great Prayer..."It is in dying to the self (notice little s), that I am born to Eternal Life." I know we will all get to that Door sometime, however I am sorry, please forgive me (I am not ready). Thank You for I know You will. I love You!.

Comment by Michel Green (on Ho'Oponopono group of Playing with the Universe) Dear Laurie (& Patricia - my add)
Have you considered that your discomfort with the phrase "I am sorry" may indicate a reluctance on your part to acknowledge a regret in your life. While I agree with you completely that I AM - however it is written - is a statement of Divine creativity, you might ponder the potential that by saying, I AM sorry, you are putting yourself in a state of regret that urges you to take action on that regretfulness by owning your responsibility for it.
I AM sorry by its apparent negativity encourages us to acknowledge our regrets in a humble yet compassionate matter; it is not about refusing to look at the dark side of ourselves [remember, even The Christ had to deal with it during his temptation].
I AM sorry also can be interpreted as being in a state of sorrow because one has created a situation of imbalance or apparent imperfection. This is a phrase that asks for gentleness and compassion as much from ourselves as from the Beloved Divine; it does not require humiliation or public awareness; it does encourage us to follow through by asking for for-giveness.

Patricia Gianniou: Thank you, Friend .... I was merely commenting on Laurie's reluctance to use I AM and was saying I could see her point .... Those that know me and are with me every day know I'm a person that doesn't have any problem with saying I am sorry .... I say it frequently to my family, co-workers, friends, strangers and God ....
Love you and wish you only the best always .... You are a wonderful teacher! .

Ron Alexander: Yes, Laurie and I have turned a new page in our relationship to forget all the analytical stuff and see each other through our hearts. I had rather be happy than right! Thanks for supporting both of us, dear Heart. Loving Oneness, ron

Ron Alexander: Yes! I am so grateful, our dialogue has clarifed alot for me - "Self - self", "Reality - reality", "Love - love", "You-you", "Yours-yours".. One Love, ron

Ho'Oponopono - Direct Connection with the Divine

"Ho'oponopono" is a form of healing from Hawaii. It was devised many years ago by a Kahuna woman with a long name but she was called "Morna" for short.
It is a simple yet profound concept.
Since we are all part of the human family, we have all had a part in creating all the confusion, suffering, fear & war. On the other hand, we are also part of the healing, light, peace, joy & transformation.
A psychiatrist, Dr. "Hew Len" practiced it while at a mental hospital in Hawaii for five years. He never saw a patient, but with each of their files, he would exclaim: "I am so sorry, please forgive me, thank you, I love you." He did this with each file over and over.
Slowly the hospital started to transform from a sickly place to a healthy place. The employees stopped their high absentism and started enjoying coming to work. The patients got better until there was no need for the hospital after Dr. Len's five years.

I am so sorry,
Please forgive me.
Thank you, I love you.

Ron Alexander said:
Ho'Oponopono - I love you, I'm sorry, Please forgive me, Thank-you (See this video - it is best yet on this, ron)

Michele Green: always start with "Thank you" because it puts me in a state of gratitude and in alignment with receiving something de-Light-full.
I then say "I'm sorry" to acknowledge that as a creator of my own Life experience, if something... is out of alignment, I must take responsibility for it and own up to my part in its appearance.
Then comes "Please forgive me" which sets me free because forgiveness is for - giving [to me].
And I always end with "And I love you" because that re-establishes my awareness of the flow of Divine Love in my life. And I love you fills be with our loving joy-full-ness with and for each other.

Joe Vitale of "Outer Limits" and "The Secret" Fame
said it is taking responsibility for everything and then saying I am sorry, Please forgive me. thank you, I love you. over & over to the Divine!

Gratitude Power sent me this note that goes along with Sharon's - about Joe Vitale & Dr. Hew Len:

Hello Ron,
Kahuna's are part of the Hawaiian ancestors and were healers and guardians. Some were also considered to be magicians and soccerers which is probably where the "witch doctor" label comes from. I've had the opportunity to work with an Hawaiian Aunty on the Big Island and she comes from an amazing lineage of Kumus (spiritual teachers), Kahus (shamans) and Kahunas (healers & guardians) She teaches the traditional Ho'Oponopono.

Dr. Hew Len teaches an updated modern approach he calls Self I-Dentity Ho'Oponopono which is a method of healing from the inside out. The method is based around repentance, forgiveness, gratitude and love. It's a very, very powerful process for cleansing, clearing energy/emotional blockages and opening up to receive all the goodness life has to offer. We teach it in our classes Awakening to Gratitude. " I'm sorry-please forgive me- thank you - I love you"--I've witness some amazing shifts using this process.

I recommend the book "Zero Limits" by Joe Vitale and Dr. Hew Len. It's about Dr. Hew Len's work and the Self I-Dentity Ho' Oponopono process

I think Peter Makena's song explains why Ho,oponopono works:

When you adopt the viewpoint
That all that exists within your circle of life
Is nothing but another part of you,

When you come to the conclusion
That there is no one who exists, who is not part of you,

You will wisely extend to yourself
An unconditional love that will be
The light of your day, the light of your night
The light that lightens up this world of ours.Peter Makena

Sometimes I Go About Pitying Myself & Sometimes Accepting Myself

Sometimes I go about pitying myself,

and all the time I am being carried on

great winds across the sky.

(Chippewa, translated by Robert Bly)

My Goal is to spend much more time accepting myself:
Science of Mind magazine: When I look out in the world today and see all of the places where compassion seems to be lacking, it is tempting to think that the answer is simply to learn how to love each other more. But this is what we are already doing! We are all, in truth, loving each other to the exact degree that we love ourselves....The [problems] in the world are nothing less than our own self-loathing--rather than self loving--being projected onto others. So, where does one begin to turn it around and create a more compassionate world? Within!..[L]ove of self becomes the base from which you freely and compassionately love the world.... From Rev. David Alexander's "Philosophy in Action column

When we begin to accept ourselves exactly as we are,
experiencing the full content of each moment without conflict or resistance,
and join together around the world with others whose hearts are flowering,
the Light of Infinite Love will flood the Earth! - Michael Milner
\

It has taken me all my life to understand it is not necessary to understand everything.---- Rene Cotee

How can I unconditionally accept myself?
To accept and love the "unlovable' parts of me! To transform the inner tormentor to an inner comforter. To accept the help and healing of others! To have absolute belief (or to act "as if) in a higher Power and Its helpers - angels on earth and angels in Spirit! And to ask ALL for the help I need at the time. To live in the Now - to meditate with the breath and with mantras and do what it takes to get to the place of supreme Awareness where this is no thought! - only unconditional radiant bliss! No mistake, Ron

I have learned, though not always applied, that if I'm upset (unhappy) with another it has nothing to do with what I think they're radiating to me. It is MY unloving thoughts about them that make me unhappy. That's the best 'turn around' I've ever come across...for me. Susan Boles

My favorite Rumi Poem:

The Guest House
This being human is a guest house.
Every morning a new arrival.
A joy, a depression, a meanness,
some momentary awareness comes
As an unexpected visitor.
Welcome and entertain them all!
Even if they're a crowd of sorrows,
who violently sweep your house
empty of its furniture,
still treat each guest honorably.
He may be clearing you out
for some new delight.
The dark thought, the shame, the malice,
meet them at the door laughing,
and invite them in.
Be grateful for whoever comes,
because each has been sent
as a guide from beyond

(translated by Coleman Barks)

Body/Mind/Ego our enemies? or part of our Wholeness?

It has taken me all my life to understand it is not necessary to understand everything.---- Rene Coty
Jeanne Porter Ashley likes this..
Ron Alexander: Thanks, Jeanne, I need to hear that and I will share it, as I have been on this intellectual push for most of my life - nothing better than a "Great Mystery"!
"I had rather be happy than right!" (ACIM - this has been a very difficult lesson for me.)
Back when Nancy Reagan was starting "Just Say No" for her anti-drug message, I came up with "Just don't Know"!
Body/mind is your only true enemy, but body/mind is only a passing illusionary concept of being. True being is above and beyond body/mind, and recognizes no enemy.
Ron Alexander: How can we be here Now without our Body/Mind? And aren't we to love our "enemies"?
Travis E. Duke ‎" When two hands clap together a sound is made. What is the sound of the one hand ? "
Ron Alexander:
There can be no order without first experiencing chaos. We experience separation so we can know what Oneness is, we experience hate so we can know what love is. Can it be we experience "body/mind" so we can know what Reality is?
Ron Alexander: The Bible knows what our body is: "the temple of our spirit."
Travis E. Duke: When we live in a world of "duality ", love/hate, right/wrong , That's all we'll ever see. The truth is beyond that and cultivated in " not knowing " The Bible is among the last of the " Holy Books' and it's unquestioned origins are suspect. Torah & Koran are older !!
Ron Alexander: One of the most destructive forms of "duality" is separating our Spirit from our Body/Mind/Ego! Wholeness is embodying Spirit and the Mind/ego! And I enjoy the "Great Mystery" - one of the greatest names of God ever used. We will never know everything. Without mystery, we would lose that wonderful sense of wonder/exploration/adventure.
Travis E. Duke: To me , letting go of body & mind and resting in the awareness of now, with no bodily sensations or mental formations is where harmony and peace reside. No judgement without investigation ... Just investigation of Who am I ?
Ron Alexander: With due respect, I prefer Buddha's meditation (Vipassana) - it is sensory awareness, so we can explore our "emptiness"! Going deep within the body so one can transcend the body(this too shall pass). Eckhart Tolle calls it Space. I was afraid of it at first, but then exploring "nothingness", I found that it is really the Energy of Divine Love, Joy and peace. Bliss is found in emptiness - no thing ness. You may read the Dalai Lama's THE UNIVERSE IN EVERY ATOM (or not.)
Travis E. Duke: Already read it, good suggestion ! I'm thrilled you have found peace on the Buddha's path, which is unsurpassable. I practice that ol' stripped down bare bones Zen. Nothing to get ,Nowhere to go. " No eyes ,no ears, no nose ,no tongue,no body ,no mind ..." Heart Sutra /Another truly wonderful read is : Moon in a Dewdrop, by Eihei Dogen
Ron Alexander: ‎"Many Paths"! and I am happy for you. I have spent many blissful hours at Green Gulch Zen Center in CA. Interesting one workshop there was "Sensory Awareness" by the late great Charlotte Selver. Also, I studied there with Brother David Steindl-Rast, the Benedictine who writes so much about Gratitude (Gratefulness.org). I preferred the "Crazee" Zens (you?), the ones with a sense of humor - the others wanted me to wear those black outfits and sit just like them!
"This is my simple religion. There is no need for temples; no need for complicated philosophy. Our own brain, our own heart is our temple.
The philosophy is kindness." the Dalai Lama I will read Moon in a Dewdrop (love that title)! Have you tried a sensory-deprivation tank!

Travis E. Duke: Actually Ron , I have, years ago in Houston. A place called Oasis where you floated in a tank with like this warm salty water ? I could hear & feel my heartbeat ! Way cool ! I know a few folks from Zen Center and I'm not surprised they wanted to get the black robes on you, Ha ha !! Not to mention those delicious " oriyoki" meals. Where's the Beef ? Actually , I've been vegetarian for 8 yrs. I've got zazen @ 6:10 am , so great to chat with you Ron !! Gotta go for now !!
Below is from another site that has ACIM group:

Is the "ego" our enemy or "satan"

Even if we think our "ego" is our enemy, should we not "love our enemies." Actually, the term ego is one of the 3 divisions of the psyche organized by Sigmund Freud. The other two is the id, which is what most people think the ego is - it is the lower ("snake brain") instinctual part of us where fear and survival competitive issues remain. The ego is described by Freud as the CONSCIOUS mediator of reality for us - the part of us that can drive our car and take care of our body. Simply,it is known as our "self". The other part is the "superego" which we would call our Higher Self as in Reality.
Helen was the one who started demonizing the ego when she channeled ACIM. When I was studying with Bill Thetford(the Scribe) in the mid-80's, he told us to "tear out those pages." He had embodied the wonderful essence of ACIM - Oneness in Love! One average size book could be written called The Essence of ACIM and it would be one of the greatest Holy Books ever written!
And remember from the Bible - "the body is the temple of our spirit."

And to be here now, we need our body and ego!

I do believe in the ending of St. Francis's Prayer - "it is letting go of the self, that we are born to eternal life." However, I think you have to be ready to let go of your body also, and we will always have to face that profound choice. However, as of now at age 66, I have never felt more alive!

Thank you Ron for this.
It is a clear explanation of something I have been trying to find for myself and a discussion group I started.
I am 63 and also feel more alive now than ever have.

Journeys of Love & Friendship

as One Love, ron (thanks to Bobbi Newman & Rosalinda Perez) for posting this.
As a child and even as a young adult, unconditional Love from my Grandmom "Bubba" saved my life, and she was no hugger or even verbal with it. I just felt Love from her very deeply. She did pray alot!

Garna Sorensen: when mu daughter was hurt and i said i feel the same pain that you feel..no one understood what i meant..and i still feel the same pain..as one...
Ron Alexander: Ah, Sweetie, you don't have "to feel their pain", in order to be compassionate. Be empathic and feel good - be as One with their Higher Self! Then you will have what they want and strive for - pure unconditional Love. One with Love, ron
Garna Sorensen: thank sweet Ron..u r so wise..thanks for the share (comment)

Hands Holding Horizon

Bobbi Newman commented on Ron Alexander's photo 'Hands holding horizon:
Lovely way to view it Jeanne. To love and honor mother earth, and hold positive thoughts about her is so important. I come by thought practice to view earth as paradise and mankind as magnificent, but sometimes forgetful. We are all spiritual beings….Jeanne commented on Ron Alexander's photo 'Hands holding horizon':I interpret it as... it's in our hands to love and honor our planet. We can create paradise... no, we can allow paradise... which is what Earth wants to be... she just needs our cooperation.Ron Alexander commented on Ron Alexander's photo: 'Hands holding horizon'No, certainly, use it and help Oneness/Unity create a "Miracle in Myrtle Beach"! as One, ron: Bobbi Newman commented on Ron Alexander's photo 'Hands holding horizon':I hope you don't mind, Ron, I will probably use your picture in a presentation in "Miracle on Maui". After Oneness Blessings, Migraines Go Away

THIS WAS ON A DEEKSHA BLOG.....SO I AM HAPPY TO REPORT IT'S ALL IN MY HEAD.......LOL :) I HAVE HAD MIGRANES IN THE PAST AND MINE AFTER DEEKSHA WERE FLOATING AROUND!!! .........I AM HAPPY TO REPORT I DO NOT HAVE ONE NOW !!!

SO THE BLOOD VESSELS ARE OPENING ........GRACE OF GOD

THANKS AGAIN...I WILL BE THERE MONDAY

LOVE AND LIGHT, DONNA STEAD

Paul, I was happy to meet you and happy we have Deeksha available within a 2 hour drive. Receiving Deeksha from you was very powerful for both myself and my husband. This was my husband’s first Deeksha. I have been receiving Deeksha since January. I received Deeksha every day for 7 days and some days 2x’s, from 2 friends. That was my introduction and I suffered migraines nearly every day. I also had a migraine for 2 days after your Deeksha and my husband too had a headache for a couple of days and he NEVER has a headache. I do not consider this a disappointment. I actually try to welcome it and open into it. It has been explained to me that Deeksha can open up the blood vessels in the brain. The migraines are different in that it travels all around my head, not staying in one place like it has done for years. So there is a difference and yet the pain is the same… intense! When the migraine dissolves I notice a weightlessness, floating, expanding, more of a willingness to meet everything, all of life, just as it is, with more awareness and more opening, living moment-to-moment, less resistance and more often aware of my breath and the breath of us all. Sometimes I notice nothing and sometimes very subtle changes. Sometimes different and always just as it is. Truthfully, I would have to say that this is the best I can describe IT, because there really are no words to describe IT. I don’t know what this is called nor does it matter to me. Also, my experiences vary. It is my prayer when I receive Deeksha to be empty, open and willing to receive the Grace of God to serve in the highest good of all.

KISS (keep it simple Source) - SACRED SIMPLICITY

Love is right here, right now in my heart. It is the "Fuel" for Oneness Blessings. for ALL Blessings, for Healing, for All Healings.

"Come as a child again, to enter the gates of Heaven."

"A great person never ignores the simplicity of a child." Chinese Fortune Cookie from today's lunch. Afterwards, I helped remove alot of the food by going Zumba dancing at the Unity Church - luv that Latin music!
Doug Bentley, Cosmic Comic, Oneness Guide from India Reveals the Doer

Clarity in Clearwater (With Simplicity)

As long as we feel we are the 'doer', we will feel separate from the Divine.

Doug has the paradoxical qualities of being deep and light, Holy & hilariously humble at same time. He has inspired me, and most likely I am going to India for the Training and a new 28 day "Deepening Process."
With over 100 people attending. Doug shined forth with simple wisdom, delightful humor, and an apparent innocence that had us at the edge of our seats creating a sort of time-less ambience that we did not want to end.
"Simple Wisdom?" Doug talked about three ways of awakening, and how we Westerners are usually on the Intellectual "book after book & workshop after workshop" process which can work but slowly. Then he spoke of a path of seva (service) which is wonderful and faster. However, Doug considers Bhakthi - the path of passionate devotion to God, as the one preferred in India, and may be the fastest. He joked of a direct Divine connection comparing turtle mail to email then DSL, Cable and now the ultimate "fiberoptic".

"As long as we feel like the 'doer', we will feel separate from the Divine. He spoke of new fully surrendered people rolling on the ground with belly laughs with the realization: "I am God" after all else is stripped away."Remember Bhakthi is not a craving but a passion. You have to really want it. Command it and it will happen. The great Surrender - I want it now!"

My dwelling place is LOVE. Its home is the HEART.
It reaches to all corners of the universe and comes right back to live in YOU.
LOVE encompasses every atom of space- it soars in between the atoms of quantum theory. It fuels all sources of energy. It lives in each breath. It creates a new at each second. LOVE knows no boundaries yet is in all the limits of time and space.
It fills the entire cosmos and creates more LOVE...

by Merry C. Battles

Combining Merry's words above with Doug's:

"God is Love." Therefore, if God I Love and I am Love, then I passionately want this Divine Love - to be One with God as Love!" DIVINE SIMPLICITY! SACRED SIMPLICITY!
Love is right here, right now in my heart. It is the "Fuel" for Oneness Blessings. for ALL Blessings, for Healing, for All Healings.

"Come as a child again, to enter the gates of Heaven."

"A great person never ignores the simplicity of a child." Chinese Fortune Cookie from todays' lunch.
"We are created to love and be loved." Mother Teresa
I repeat yet with more clarity of Divine Simplicity:
"Belly laughing rolling around on the ground, after I fully realize Divine Love is the Doer (or the "Door")?" & joyously expect so!"

Jeanne commented on Ron Alexander's blog post 'KISS (keep it simple Source) - SACRED SIMPLICITY'Capt. Ron... thanx for sharing all these good times... good thoughts. Seems you're having alot of fun, feeling good... drinking in the moment. :-)
Jeanne, I had a running dialogue/debate with a Zen Buddhist, who says they are taught to go beyond the senses, the body/mind in their meditation. I told him about Vipassana about going in with "sensory awareness" with the idea of observing the passing show. And we agreed that we have completely different paths both supposedly under The Buddha's instructions. He accused me of having a duality problem, and I replied that having a Spirit/Body split has to be the most destructive duality. I told him of the times I spent in Zen Centers, identifying with the "Crazee Zens" and resisting the attempts to have me wear black robes and sit like they do. We ended up agreeing on the Great Mystery as nobody really knows all the truth. Then he told me that he had to go to bed because Zendo started at 6:15, which made me realize he was more devoted to his path, than I am, so I resumed sitting this AM, and feeling very good about the meditation. A great way to energized the start of the day in mindfulness.
By the way, we ended up becoming friends on facebook. He even told me, upon my asking, that he has tried a sensory deprivation tank. What an interesting difference in meditation tools, don't you think? What is your hit on Zen Buddhism? Yes I am enjoying life, and thinking seriously of going to India to experience the Deepening 28 day program at the Oneness U. and then going up North and visit Vipassana Meditation Centers following Buddha's path ( an new guide book from Pariyatta). Interestingly, the newest deepening by the Sri. Bhagwan is "darkroom" meditation. I was told that they like that I am doing Vipassana meditation, and the new meditation is similar? A big thing that I enjoy about the Oneness Movement is that it is non-dogmatic, and Sri. Bhagwan is always after new things to deepen the process. thanks for reading & responding, ron

Comment by Jeanne: As with many systems and beliefs... I find many parts of Zen to be beautiful... and other parts to be too grim. ...kind of like the Amish.A trip to India sounds wonderful! I suggest going to the Global Pagoda... the crowning glory of Goenka's contribution to humanity.
