Yoga means “union” – the union of mind, body, and spirit. There is far more to yoga than the beneficial practice of postures, or asanas.
Yoga is finding balance, and union, in all aspects of our lives. Moving our bodies in ways that help us feel peaceful and connected with everything around us – whether it’s a brisk walk, a focused run, or an hour of yoga – can shift our awareness. Exercise helps us feel open and alive, rebalances our perspective, improves our physiology, and allows us to experience all aspects of ourselves, in harmony.
