Contrary to popular opinion

Contrary to popular opinion, I do not accept that we have become more violent. We've become a kinder and gentler species. Because our consciousness has evolved, we are much more aghast at racism and violence. Our everyday language now is more reflective of compassionate and empathetic analysis than 50 years ago. Kindspeak was once limited to religion... now your average barista is a mindfulness philosopher.

Terry Orr I agree. It is because of an increasing sense of morality and compassion, that we see people standing up for cooperation and inclusion - instead of conflict and exclusion.
