A Sparkling Divine Night followed yesterday's Sparkling Divine Day as
the winter constellations were bright in the dark moonless sky over the
Ocean. The centerpiece was Orion, the gigantic humter with its belt pointing
upward to the equally large Taurus with the red eye of Aldeboran, the Seven
Sisters on it's shoulder. The belt pointed downwards to Sirious the brightest
star in the sky and also the head of Canis Major the Dog constellation standing
on its hindleg as if trying to get the attention of Orion. Looking upward was
Procyon the "Puppy" Canis Minor, who was close to the Gemini twins Castor &
Pollux. As I walked North the magnificent Big Dipper pointed to the North Star,
which helped creat the Little Dipper. I was so grateful to be out on such
a "Sparkling Divine Night".
