Ron Alexander Our emotions are somaticized, and some will cause physical disease, unless one can move them on out. Just being aware of these sensations, and knowing they are temporary, and they will pass on thankfully. The key is deep bodily awareness. This was Buddha's finding while under the Bodhi tree!
Ra Divakar Goenka, the teacher who has spread Buddha's meditation all over the world, started out just wanting to get rid of his migraine headaches. It worked so he took it back to India (from Burma) to help his Mom with an illness, and that was the beginning!
