Be Kind to your Elders, especially Veterans

Veteran Finds Note On Windshield, Breaks Down Into Tears When He Reads Stranger’s Message

Being kind doesn’t cost a thing. If you’ve visited your local coffee shop and your server was exceptionally nice to you, say so. If your friend got a new haircut and you think it looks amazing, simply by saying it to them will instantly make their day. It’s the small things in life that really make up the big moments. Which is why, when someone shows us how amazing human nature can be, it’s important that we share it with the world so that we too can follow suit.
And this video will definitely give you a happy feeling inside your heart as well as the urge to want to help or show kindness to someone for something fantastic that they’ve done. Granted, it was a simple act of kindness but it impacted the man in question in a very big way.

Bob Bradshaw is an 88-year-old from Omaha, Nebraska. He spent 30 years in active duty and saw the likes of Korea and Vietnam. He retired with the title of Lieutenant Colonel and persisted to sport a licence plate that read, “disabled American veteran” as well as a bronze star decal.
One afternoon while Bradshaw was finished visiting the dentist, he approached his car and noticed a white envelope on the windshield. He opened the envelope to find $20 along with a note that read, “Thank you so much for your service to our country. I appreciate all you have contributed to make the USA great. Please enjoy a meal on me. I know it isn’t much but I hope it helps you out! A friend.”
The message absolutely moved Bradshaw to tears and prompted him to respond by saying, “There’s a lot of good people out there.”
See the amazing and heartfelt incident in the video below. And if you’ve enjoyed it, share it with your family and friends.
