Terry Orr Maya is not so much to do with everything changes as it has to do with the perception of consciousness that we (Ego) have continuity. The fact of anica (change) implies that nothing exists beyond the present moment and that everything arises to pass away. Descartes expressed a classic case of Maya when he said "I think therefore I am". In his case, the operative mistake had to do with his erroneous perception of "I".

Terry Orr Death to change because their can be no permanent "peace" while change is present. One of the worst things that can befall a person is being attached to bliss - because bliss is still a vibration (i.e. can be experienced) and as such will eventually fade away. If we get attached to bliss, we are guaranteeing our future misery
