Honey - A Healing Soul dog!

Elena Salvador

yesterday was national cat hug day...today....our dear friend Ron says ... it's national dog day ...

Ron Alexander:

National dog Day - this is Honey! She had more soul than most people including moi!

Ron Alexander Woof, woof - definitely a dog person!

    Elena Salvador same here!

  • Ron Alexander Honey was a service dog before there were official "service dogs". She worked with me in a spiritual support group for "life-threatened" young adults - she would sit in the middle of the group and wait until it was obvious who was in most emotional pain, and then go sit not at their feet but on their feet. She would pull wheelchairs, go sailing, swimming, hiking, dancing, - whatever we did, she did...Everybody loved her! Right Gerry Spencer

Elena Salvador wow. amazing dog, a heroine

  •
Ron Alexander Yes, she loved it on the mountain where we drummed, chanted and danced every full moon. That is where I left her body, and when we went up there, we could feel her spirit strongly and especially other dogs too!

  •
Elena Salvador beautiful, Ron .. tnx for sharing with us her story..

Ron Alexander Yes, however she was primarily a boat dog, I found her as a puppy on a boat, and she lived with me and sailed with me on one for a couple years. When the guests did not want a dog on a sunset dinner charter, she would run on the banks and beaches doing her best to stay close when out on boat. She loved dolphins too! Here is an illustration from one of my books.

Dear Ellen, another friend wrote: I can feel Honey's oversized heart. She is incredible.  Ron, I just dropped my phone in the hot tub.  Luckily it is a recycled phone, not expensive.
Ron, what a lovely picture of Honey. I remember her so well. Especially when she ran like crazy  barking
along the beach, when you made porpoise sounds... Yes,she was a sweet girl
