How can we keep our thoughts from driving us batty?

"The good news is that you can free yourself from your mind. The voice comments, speculates, judges, compares, complains, likes, dislikes, and so on. The voice isn't necessarily relevant to the situation you find yourself in at the time; it may be reviving the recent or distant past (memory) or imagining possible future situations." Eckhart Tolle, THE POWER OF NOW

How to do Mindfulness Meditation

Mindfulness practice is simple and completely feasible. Just by sitting and doing nothing, we are doing a tremendous amount.”
Ron: You can just watch your breath, use a mantra, or other ways to concentrate - the trick is not to resist your thoughts. Watch them go by like clouds in the sky of your mind. AND LET THEM GO! Getting back to your way of concentrating...

Enza Currenti Thanks for sharing that Ron Meditation is a synonym for connecting with our inner divinity, our higher consciousness that just knows - that transcends thought, space, time and in so doing accesses our infinite intelligence, reminding us that we are a soul having a human experience and not the other way around. When we understand this, the bigger picture, then thoughts become immaterial - we understand that the mind and body are influenced by our senses, our human, aka, the mortal part of our being this lifetime - and as such, we are invited to embrace all that we are, imperfectly perfect & to honour both the yin and yang as these thoughts, senses enlighten us and teach us love lessons and highlight the path of least resistance http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Me2YTUGirNs
