Blessing must arise from within your own mind. It is not something that comes from outside. When the positive qualities of your mind increase and the negativities decrease, that is what blessing means. The Tibetan word for blessing … means transforming into magnificent potential. Therefore, blessing refers to the development of virtuous qualities you did not previously have and the improvement of those good qualities you have already developed. ― Dalai Lama XIV

Blessings - Br. David Steindl-Rast
As we find ourselves in uncertain and troubling times, we invite you to connect with an ever-present source of gratitude and blessing: life itself is a gift. Every moment, we can cultivate deeper awareness of the blessing of simply being alive, greater appreciation for all that works and is sufficient in our lives, and wonder and awe for the miracles that are always available within and around us. “Blessing,” Br. David writes, “rightly understood, is the invisible bloodstream pulsating through the universe — alive and life-giving.”
