Blessing must arise from within your own mind. It is not something that comes from outside. When the positive qualities of your mind increase and the negativities decrease, that is what blessing means. The Tibetan word for blessing … means transforming into magnificent potential. Therefore, blessing refers to the development of virtuous qualities you did not previously have and the improvement of those good qualities you have already developed.

Day 19 — The Power to Transform Your Relationships Deepok Chopra
Day 19 — The Power to Transform Your Relationships
In today’s meditation, we learn that the power to transform our relationships is found in the stillness of our present moment awareness. This silent, inactive consciousness is often referred to in spiritual traditions as detachment, because it is a kind of uninvolved witness to our thoughts, feelings, and sensations. Detachment is self-awareness in the world, but not of it.
However, this level of pure consciousness is not inert – it is dynamically alive existence aware of itself. This self-knowingness generates a flow of consciousness that provides unbounded power to create, to support, and to transform every aspect of our life.
