Seeing things as they are not as you would like them to be.
I am sick with grief. Pain - my teeth, I must be grinding them during the night. Possibly losing this house brings up all the grief of how it got to be like this. Greed, love of things over people, insecurity, egoic thinking - competition - having nicer and more beautiful things that neighbors and friends. House, cars, and even boats - yes, now I saying it - boats - what I have been attaching myself to lately. ATTACHMENT! THAT IS WHAT BRINGS ABOUT MISERY! Even attachments to accomplishments - maybe especially attachment to accomplishments - even your sports team accomplishments.
Anxiety - lots of it - transitional?
Watching TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD last night and contrasting myself with the magnificent integrity and compassion of Atticus Finch was not good for my mental health either. As much as I admire this novel by Harper Lee, and her amazing characters. Quote from awesome movie:"You never really understand a person until you consider things from his point of view, until you climb inside of his skin and walk around in it."
THIS TOO SHALL PASS! I hope soon!
Thanks for your support Dr. Dean,
Dean A. Banks: You're welcome! Expect the best and prepare for the worst. Either way you have dealt with both possibilities and are ready for whatever comes your way. That preparedness affords you the options, the insight and the strength to handle anythi...ng. See the end result of this crisis as being over. Angela Martin Diggs: It is so easy to hear what the Spirit is saying...When it is a shared Truth. Beautiful and Loving streams broke from your original post. I could not pass up the chance to share the Wisdom. It is my desire that everyone receive this. How wonderful it would be to make it easy for man to see and feel this Truth.....Hugs Ron Alexander and Love sent. ♥
Ron Alexander: Wow! so good to read your supportive comments this AM. I feel like Scrooge right now, bah hum bug, however I prayed that "this would pass quickly" and some support like yours and Dr. Dean is helping alot!
Angela Martin Diggs: You know I had a few days like that last week. Just felt that I should stay to myself because I felt very cantankerous. It does pass and sometimes it is not even your own feelings. Just guard your words and only let kindness out. When you do this it smacks that bah hum bug feeling out of your space. Sending loving and calming energy to you. Peace abound and always Let there Be Light. Love sent...♥
What was Scrooge really about? Remember his nephew who would not give up on him? The ghost of Christmas Past, Present and Future... the Angel - was Scrooge really not asking for loving help in the only way he really knew how? Here is the redeemed Scrooge image with "Tiny Tim" (who would not see the bad in him either).
The Ghost of Christmas Past was the first of the three spirits (after
the visitation by Jacob Marley) that haunted the miser. Ebenezer
Scrooge in order to prompt him to repent. she showed him scenes from his past that occurred on or aroun...d Christmas, in order to demonstrate to him the necessity of changing his ways, as well as to show the reader how Scrooge came to be the person he was and his particular dislike for Christmas – most of the events which negatively affected Scrooge occurred around the Christmas holiday season.
