Also, there was a whole shipload of Jewish Refugees of the Holocaust who were turned away, because the Right wing thought that Jews were leftist. I think there were about 800 aboard and after being turned away from several ports, they may have ended up in Cuba? Anybody know for sure? Where ever this is a terrible stain on our history.
