How to Feel Whole and Secure in Life

How to Feel Whole and Secure in Life Ernest Holmes/Ron Alexander

Most men (people, Ron) live lives of quiet desperation. Thoreau

Love One Another

If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us.—1 John 4:12

Every heart responds to the warmth of love. Every mind yearns for it’s embrace and no life is complete without it. Love alone can heal the world and enable people to live together in unity and peace. I believe that God is Love. I believe that Love is at the center of everything: therefore I accept Love as the healing power of life. I permit Love to reach out to every person I meet. I believe that Love is returned to me from every person I meet. I trust in the Guidance of Love because I believe it is the Power of Good in the Universe. I feel that Love is flowing through me to heal every situation I meet to help every person I contact. Love opens the way before me and makes it perfect, straight and glad.

Love thy neighbor as thyself

And thou shall love the Lord, thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and thy neighbor as thyself.—Mark 12; 30-31

When we let the Love that is within us go out to the God who is in all people and the Divine Presence in all things, then we are loving God with all our heart and with all our soul and mind. We are recognizing the Spirit within us is the same Spirit that we meet in others (Namaste’) This is loving our neighbors as ourselves.

The Power of Love

I know that the only Power there is and the only Presence there is is Love, the Spirit Almighty. There is no condemnation, no judgement, and no fear n me. I feel like I belong to the world in which I live, that I love people and am loved of them. I have a deep sense of confidence and trust, I feel that I am secure in life and that I am no longer anxious about anything.            Ernest Holmes (paraphrased by Ron Alexander)
