Nobody can say that he did not ‘exist’ wholly or he did experience any kind of suffering during the state of deep sleep. In the state of deep sleep, while we do... not own any personality, we do not differ or suffer in any sense. My soul and your soul are the same and identical. The crust of personality shrouds the soul only in the waking state and every kind of diversity appears with the emergence of personality. The language of the soul in the West is not different from the language of soul in the East; neither the language of soul of a man is different from the language of soul of a woman or that of a child, for that matter. While the characteristics of personalities may differ, the characteristics of the structure of the soul do not differ. And, here is a common ground for real unity. …………….Om Shanti!
