Photos later of beautiful Blue Ridge mts. where I am celebrating my Birthday!

Thank you wonderful Soul Friends and Teachers. I AM CELEBRATING MY BIRTHDAY NEAR THE BEAUTIFUL MOUNT MITCHELL TOWN BURNSVILLE, N. C. THE HIGHEST TOWN ON THE EAST COAST. COLORS ARE GORGEOUS PEOPLE ARE SUPER FRIENDLY. PHOTOS LATER!

Jacqueline Boyce Happy Birthday, Ron! You are near one of my favorite places, Celo Community, which is not far from Burnesville, on the way to Mt. Mitchell. How did you choose Burnesville for your birthday celebration?

Ron Alexander Actually, I am with wonderful Jim and Lydia, long time members of the Celo Community. I came up with Victoria Carey, who used to live with Jim and Lydia, and staying in their charming house on Morning Glory Rd. He has COMMON GROUND Organic Farm and is phlosopher, ex sailor. She is nurse, gardener (mostly flowers) and activist. I am really enjoying it up here educating evervbody about Otway Burns , the Privateer of out Beaufort, for whom Burnsville is named. Also, there is a stature of him in the Town Square, and as a politician, he was responsible for annexing Western N.C. to the whole state. There is a famous bar/restaurant named atter his boat SNAPDRAGON just off qquare, where we we eat tomorrow. He was quite a hero of the War of 1812, which we might have lost , without his victories against the British!
