asking why you are clinging
striving so hard
pushing without the respite
this moment calls you...
inviting you here and now
to engage with
the whispers
calling you to
dance with the wisdom of within

recall the ancient wisdom
ebb and flow
give and take
reap and sow
live and die
reach and surrender
shifts upon shifts
perhaps the sturdiness of the earth
can carry you
the water of forever can wash upon you
perhaps this time can remind you
you are right where you need to be
embrace your lesson without judgements
give your gifts freely
stay a while and savor

travel on in wonder
trusting the nudgings of your soul
