Sometimes it’s worse to win a fight than to lose.

Billie Holiday(gratefulness.org)     Mac Lain, Tigers like underdog role Clemson is an underdog against the Oklahoma Sooners in the Orange Bowl and that’s just fine by senior offensive lineman Eric Mac Lain and the Tigers.   My undergraduate degree is from an undefeated Clemson team, and though I really enjoy it, when they lose I am actually a more spiritual person. even when the other team gets a "moral victory" of making the game close like the last two games against rival usc and unc, I am glad that their fans felt better. I have empathy for them, and if Oklahoma does get revenge for Clemson pasting them last year in bowl game, I will feel good for them, and still very proud of my Tigers for an awesome year.
