Having another tough day today physically - extremely fatigued again (chronic fatigue?) which depresses me, as I like to get things done. At midday, I forced myself to take a shower, put on some clean clothes and go to VA to volunteer at Hospice. It did my heart good to spend time with these hero elders. One, who was really concerning me because he had been in bed hallucinating the last few times I visited him. After complimenting and praising him for his service, which finally would lead to a conscious connection, I would encourage him to get out of bed. So today, it was good to see him out of bed in his wheelchair and mentally alert. So I pushed him down to recreation room to socialize with some of the other heroes. Also, I did some little visits and interactions plus helping one vet just back from dialysis find his nurse call adaptor. The therapists and nurses always appreciate my visits also. So my spirit is uplifted thankfully and interestingly I have more energy (still not normal).
