Feeling and shining our Light

Charleston Unity EdMail (Rev. Ed Kosak)
THOUGHT FOR THE WEEK
The first Sunday in Advent has traditionally been about hope, hopeful because the divine consciousness is born in us again at Christmas. (It's actually always been there, but we just run with the season!) Besides it's nice to have spiritual birthdays.  Faith and light have also been associated with the first Sunday of Advent.
Of the three, faith hope and light, which do you need right now in your spiritual life? In Unity, we teach that we have everything we need right within us. Sometimes our life situations, ego, unconscious, etc. prevent us from tapping into all the faith hope and light that we have within us. And that's part of the journey. But it's helpful for us to know that we have everything we need right within us. Tap into faith hope and light by the thoughts you think, prayer/meditation, and for me most effectively, FEELING our divine essence. We will arrive at everything we have right within us!
