I am 70 years old and my purpose for the rest of my life is to help heal the wounds of war (and to urge the end of them). I voluntarily work with vets inside and outside VA hosp. As a peer support specialist, my job is to take those isolated out to different events. However, listening to them and possibly helping them create healing digital stories is most therapeutic. The technology and training to be a Digital Story facilitator is very expensive. Also, I hope to take a heal......ing reconciliation trip to Vietnam this fall with Dr. John Wesley Fisher (ANGELS IN VIETNAM). He and is lovely Healer wife Lindsley Field take a group there every year and spend time working in agent orange clinics, some of which they set up themselves. This is very important work as Nixon failed to fund them the money he promised to clean up that very toxic poison. I really appreciate any support!
