MaryRose Winkler and YES Ron "until we can develop our own Sacred Witness within" for sure Blessings to you all for making your own Sunshine Kay Brown

Ron Alexander The Inner Witness or Observer is what we try to develop in meditation (at least Vipassana Meditation)

Ron Alexander Jiddu Krishnamurti is also well-known for encouraging the development of the Inner Observer...

MaryRose Winkler What I want to know Ron is why do we try so hard to find something that is already there? It like a fish looking for water, we are pure love, all the rest is a mask to cover insecurity for being here in human form... its like someone having huge iracles happening in their life (which I was privileged to witness this very thing this last year) the miracles are so big we don't even see them, because WE think and feel SMALL, once we, as the quote goes "first he was blind, then he could see"

AND once we see with our consciousness, we see there is all beauty, including our own beingness upon all of existence in my world...

Again with the Jiddu thing, why LOOK for something we already have?

I'm headed to the VA soon so sign off shortly, its "finding a parking spot Monday" OH LUCKY ME LOLOL I spend more time looking for parking then I do seeing Fred LOLOL Ron Alexander be blessed guy & I hope your having a great day

Ron Alexander Not hard, however the more stressed, the harder it is to be still and silent enough to discover our Inner Guide. For me it takes a lot of meditation to keep in touch - developing AWARENESS is not an easy process as we are a land of mostly "quietly desperation" as Thoreau describes it. And unfortunately, "ignorance is bliss" - we had rather escape by watching TV (and the news is the worst - propaganda for fear) or other ways to escape - shopping, alcohol, drugs, you name it - you teach it dear MaryRose - what does it take to BE Here Now in awareness with our Witness observing?
Stress and the monkey mind are hard to get past to the Inner Witness!
MaryRose Winkler I don't know if you want a response to your question Ron lol but here goes, just in case LOL

I've been into all this since 1978 when I lost my baby son, so I don't even really know what your looking for... I was diligent about studies, meditation, wor
kshops, Unity and Dick Sutphen tapes, (which I do all this now except I don't attend Unity anymore...)

I go to Unitarian Universalist Congregration, to me its right for me and about 12 years ago I took a test on Belief . net about what "faith" I am, it came out Unitarian, then about 4 months ago I did it again and out of the list of about 20, I answered honestly from my core and apparently I am most like Unitarian so I started attending down here...

I am diligent about daily feeding my soul, 99% of the people in my life own their own stuff and those who don't, don't bother me anymore because I have more compassion for them rather than anything judgmental...

Fred & I were just talking about this today, ... some people work from their mind and never get it, others speak from their heart and reach out and attract other heart minded people... Those who are book smart, follow the letter of the law and preach the sermons to US are not in my world, and when we don't connect they walk away from me and I bless them as they leave...

We were talking about this in regrds to AA and how so many are book smart but never reach that spot in the heart that is the CAUSE (my belief only) of the addiction itself... THAT was the exact premise that they started AA counseling on with counselors, sponsors, whatever... finding that book smart people who had never had a drink don't know anything about nothing...

And I agree, certificates, diplomas and such don't impress me at ALL, in fact I have meet some brilliant people who I wanted even want to have lunch with because they have no spiritual / emotional body contact and even work to deny it to some extent by hiding behind books and knowledge... knowledge is the mind, feelings are the heart, the reason they have the addiction issue in their life in the first place is because they aren't connected to their hearts, they are connected to the computer / fact / critical mind yes? (Of course you don't have to agree with me Ron, this is ONLY my observation of my little corner of the world, maybe out there is more knowledge but even the success rate of treatment centers is low because they don't connect the heart, they only dabble in the knowledge and facts of the program, including the steps which have been required ONLY recommended to anyone who has or knows anything about Bill W.

The whole premise of AA was NOT to quit the addiction, it was to fill that lack of love within and THEN the addiction will fall off on its own...

OK oooops I got carried away, sorry because we had a meeting and of course I learn so much just listen to Fred, that I'm like a kindergartner who learned there's a new color in the crayon bo, I have to tell EVERYONE about it LOLOL Hope your having a great day guy, love you to the moon and back and I'm glad always that your in my circle I call LOVE Ron Alexander
MaryRose Winkler MONKEY MIND yep I think I done analyzed that to death in the post above right Ron LOLOL - book smart or heart smart, ??? GIVE ME HEART any day right, but heck it would be fantastic when their working together right bro?

Kind of like the HOLY TRINITY in the catholic church, "body, mind & soul" dancing together, yes sir, BRING IT ON Ron Alexander
