‘Cause’ and ‘effect’ are the concepts and temporal phenomenon in the mind. Without the concept of ‘effect’, there cannot be the concept of ‘cause’. The word ‘ca...use’ can have some meaning only with reference to the word ‘effect’ and that way, we first have a thought of an ‘effect’. ‘Cause’ and ‘effect’ is a pair of opposites. How can God-realisation be the effect of ‘sadhana’ or seeking! If it is the ‘effect’ that is produced, then it will die also. All effects are mortal. ‘God-realisation’ and ‘God’ is the synonym. Continue your ‘sadhana’ of inquiry, meditation, etc., but in the end, you will realise that what you call ‘God-realisation’ or liberation or illumination is not the result of your ‘sadhana’. It is the Eternal state of things here, the Absolute Truth. We are trying to go to the very root of the problem. There is no such object called ‘cause’ or ‘effect’. A ‘cause’ in one instance, can be the ‘effect’ in another instance. The object is innocent. Whether it is a ‘cause’ or an ‘effect’ is a thought in your mind. The whole world has to be absorbed, swallowed and digested. We are trying to prove the Eternal, Infinite nature of God about whom we say that He is omnipresent. He is omnipresent, so, there is no question of any cause for creation. The whole existence is God only; all encompassing, all inclusive including ‘you’ and ‘me’; 'this' and 'that'. The sky cannot be covered with a piece of cloth, even though, you put it over your eyes. Similarly, the Infinite and Eternal cannot be obliterated by the finite and the temporal. ……………..Om Shanti!
