Meditation cannot be delegated

As one grows in stature . . . one learns to de-centralise, to delegate things to be done to Others.
But some things cannot be delegated . . like breathing, eating, taking medicine when sick, making love, and so on . . .
These acts are existential. Nature / God requires them of the self.

narinder is reminded of a Joke, he heard when a second-lieutenant in an Army Unit . The Commanding Officer asked his Adjutant , " Is sleeping with one's wife a Pleasure or a Duty ?" The Adjutant glibly replied , " It is a pleasure Sir. Otherwise you would have delegated it to me. "

Meditation, too, cannot be delegated . It has to be done by the self. This Doing, this working on the self, invokes God/ Self to awaken you to the Fact that Meditation is your own Nature; your own Understanding and Bliss.
