It was more of a thud than a bang...

Short story written for writing group today 8-13-14 by Ron Alexander

It was more of a thud than a bang, but it scared me anyway. When I looked at where the  noise came from, I noticed a dent in my car. On the pavement next to the fender was a layered translucent green round rubber-looking disc. It was a little larger than an lawnmower wheel. Around the perimeter were three layers (stories?) of orange lights flashing on and off. When I approached it, the disc started spinning upwards just missing my face. Startled, I watched it quickly disappear into the star-filled night sky.

Ra Divakar That's weird Bro! Could aliens be tiny beings in small flying saucer?
