Teaching Peace

How do we ever bring peace to the world if we don't begin with ourselves?

Blessing candle has been lit for the night. With Peace in our hearts, we remember to hold all who represent peace in our world.

This is for those who make our lives ones of encouragement, motivation, inspiration and wholeness through a ...peace within their presence. This inculdes athletes, volunteers, our armed forces, metaphysics guides, clergy, health care workers and teachers, just to mention a few of these vocations. May you all feel the appreciation & gratitude that we honor you with tonight. Thank you to you all.
Thanks Peaceful Mary Rose Winkler - was reminded of Peace Pilgrim today when told about peace walk by Vietnam vet. who became a Buddhist Monk in Bucharest and then did a peace walk all the way to Vietnam, where he had killed many as a machine gunner on a helicopter. He has studied with Thich Nhat Hanh, who told him that he has been completely forgiven by his fellow country persons in Viet Nam. Now, this Vet/Monk teaches other vets. at Omega every year, and I expect to be there! PEACE, ron

Every mindful step we take and every mindful breath we take establish peace in the present moment and prevent war in the future. If we transform our individual consciousness, we begin the process of changing the collective conscious". Thich Nhat Hanh How do we ever bring peace to the world if we don't begin with ourselves?
