Be Drawn to What You Really Love

WORD FOR THE DAY - www. gratefulness.org
Friday, Oct. 4

Let yourself be silently drawn by the strange pull of what you really love. It will not lead you astray.

Jalaluddin Rumi.

Just stopped by the Wooden Boat Museum in fire ravaged Georgetown and spoke with wooden boat sailor/author Mac McCallister and realized how much I enjoy being around people like that. I am on my way to sail with Veterans on Deck in Charleston, and as usual will really enjoy that. All this helps me realize that letting go of beach house and moving down in this area is a "blessing in disguise"! I am in much gratitude for this serendipitous early AM meeting with Capt. Mac. He and his wife have cruised extensively and his books are great!

What seems to us as bitter trials are often blessings in disguise.
